MPCL is state owned Exploration and production company with its own seperate Drilling Service department
known as Mari Service Department with its own two drilling rigs and during the month of January it has

completely taken over Dewan Petroleum Rigs and Weatherford Drilling International Pakistan Drilling operation
with total of 8 Rig operating as Drilling Contractor and two slick line units in Asia and major E&P in Pakistan and
U.A.E. I have joined MPCL as HSE Coordinator Drilling for all rigs and rig less activities for their own production
and exploration sites and over all responsible for drilling operation HSE matters while reported to country HSE
Manger with the following main responsibilities but not limited to below:
o Liaising with all rig and rig less sites safety officers on daily basis to ensure the incident free daily
operations.
o Developing, implementing and maintaining the HSE Management System, Program and Procedure in line
with ISO 45001 to manage and coordinate all elements of HSE Management System of MPCL.
o Prepare Contingency and Emergency response plans for critical work sites such as HPHT wells, fracturing
and perforation sites, well testing, SIMOPS sites.
o Monitor and record HSE activities of the project, and assist HSE Manager in preparation and submission of

o Prepare and revise JSAs and risk assessments for new work sites ahead of moving to work site.
o Establish & maintain process for annual review of HSE performance, Key Performance Indicator &
management system in collaboration with HSE Manager.
o Work as site safety officer in case of shortage of site safety officers or having critical operations and
conduct daily inspection of site. Review and update major equipment inspection tracking sheets such as all
Iron, chicksans, loops, Coil tubing BOPs, coil, injector head, Wire line sheaves, Gas detection system etc.
o Prepare and distribute Monthly QHSE Training required and disseminate annual HSE plan

necessary, laterally communicated.
o Perform internal audits for the local unit/bases and categorize an approved Local Suppliers list to ensure
compliance to the Management System.
o Prepare and distribute Monthly QHSE Report and disseminate annual QHSSE plan.

which are received, from subordinates and other personnel.

Worked with BR Cat Intl as Aramco approved Division HSE Manager K.S.A for Northern Division of Saudi Aramco
comprises of two live plants projects and four new pipelines of more than 300 km each, comprises of 4000
manpower and 300 Nos of Safety Personnel team directly reported to undersigned. The KPI of the project has
slightly increased from my joining period from 82% to 96%. The project had been driven to achieve the safety
mile stone in Apr 2018. Being responsible for overall HSE responsibilities of entire project I have been in liaison
with Saudi Aramco Project Manager and Division HSE Manager for compliance. The CAT Group being an
international group has implemented SAP for all kind of budgeting and maintenance processes. Whilst being on
the key project position I was managing the Annual HSE Budget in accordance of Capex and Opex items.

Started working as a Drilling HSE Engineer and later promoted as a Drilling HSE Advisor to supervise drilling
activities as per HSE Perspectives for Five Jack up Drilling Rigs for Development, Exploration and Work Over
Drilling Wells for ZAKUM DEVELEOPMENT PROJECT and the core responsibilities comprises of controlling HSE
activities for these rigs overall, including planning, commissioning, mobilization, assembling, testing and Drilling
operations of Rigs, Coordinating with onsite Safety Officer. The primary role involves time to time inspection and
audits at the sites (Rigs). The key responsibilities are as below:

o Provides support to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in the event of an incident.
o Managing all HSE data and manipulation and outcomes
o Working with Drilling Division to support and comply with HSE Regulations.
o Conducting Training for the staff and line managers to keep them updated.
Have joined SAIPEM ARABIA as a Drilling HSE Specialist/Advisor for a separate Drilling Campaign with four new
onshore Rigs for Development, Exploration and Work Over Drilling Wells and 1 Off Shore Rig PN-5 for Saudi
Aramco co while the core responsibilities comprises of Coordination of these new rigs from Safe Mobilization of
Rigs to new location, Assembling of Rigs, liaising with Safety Officer and on ward activities after Spudding of the
Wells. The job is a rotational role of 5X5 weeks with the primary role at base and the designated four rigs. The
key responsibilities are as below:
o The safe mobilization of new rigs to designated locations by conducting Road Hazard Assessment and
Pre Job Assessment of all of the newly mobilized rigs including their camps.
o Risk Assessment of the four rigs in whole including their safe assembling.
o Supervise the entire Rig up Activities and installation of safety equipment.
o Coordinate and participate in the rig acceptance audit from the client representatives.
o Submission of the daily HSE reports from Rig to client.
o Performing internal HSE Audits of the working rigs to comply the HSE standards of the organization.
o Monitoring training matrix and training plan of all employees on these four rigs as per Client and
