INTRODUCTION
Prior to diploma graduation, industrial training refers to work experience gained during
program of study that is important to professional growth. Industrial training exposes students
to the professional environment, helping them understand workplace dynamics, norms, and
expectations. Students must finish their industrial training within 12 weeks in order to pass
the training assessment and graduate. This experience provides the liability for real-life work
and internships. Overall, industrial training plays a vital role in preparing students for the
workforce by providing hands-on experience, fostering professional development, and
facilitating the transition from education to employment.
1
1.2 PRELIMINARY
An internship, often referred to as a preliminary, serves as an initial step into the professional
world for students or individuals seeking practical experience in a specific field or industry.
This type of internship typically occurs during the early stages of one's academic or
professional journey and aims to provide foundational knowledge, skills, and exposure to real-
world work environments. All students are required to complete Industrial Training before they
can be awarded a Diploma. Students must complete three months of industrial training at any
private agency. As a result, the students in this Industrial Training will be exposed to the actual
working environment. They may learn how to put into reality the established work ethic, how
to communicate effectively with others, as well as how to carry out their duties properly and
generate a positive image in the organization.
Students can put the knowledge, skills they have gained in the classroom to use by using
examples from this program. Facilitating connections with professionals in the industry and
building relationships that may be beneficial for future career development, they can put all of
the knowledge into practice. Additionally, students can learn some of the ins and outs of the
modern workplace. Students who value qualities like responsibility, trust, teamwork, problem-
solving, time management and discipline may also participate in the industrial training.
Additionally, the students in the Industrial Training will be motivated to develop a responsible
and mature image. Overall, internship serves as a stepping stone towards more advanced internships
or entry-level positions, equipping participants with the foundational experiences and skills necessary
for success in their chosen career paths.

1.3 BENEFITS OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Industrial training, also known as industrial attachment or internship, offers several benefits to
participants. Internships provide students with the opportunity to expand their skills and
knowledge while working under the supervision of a professional. Industrial training provides
hands-on experience in a real-world work environment, allowing participants to apply
theoretical knowledge gained from academic studies to practical situations. This practical
exposure enhances their understanding of industry practices and procedures. The goal of
Industrial Training is to expose students to real-world work environments while also gaining
knowledge through hands-on observation and job performance. Students may gain skills in
work ethics, communication, management, and other areas as a result of their industrial
training. The following are the goals of industrial training:
3
Overall, an internship can give a student with paid professional work experience in a
safe and structured atmosphere with expert assistance. The goals of industrial training are
around preparing participants for successful careers in their chosen fields by developing their
skills, knowledge, professionalism, and industry connections. An intern is usually allocated a
work site mentor and a school-based internship coordinator. The work site mentor will assist a
student in learning how to navigate a certain work site culture and communicate with other
workers. The internship coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting students' experiential
learning and professional growth through internship opportunities, fostering partnerships with
industry stakeholders, and ensuring the success and sustainability of internship programs within
academic institutions. The mentor and students in developing a solid relationship that may help
the intern have a pleasant internship experience. The internship coordinator can also assist the
student in learning how to manage expectations and develop good work habits.
4
1.4 LEARNING OUTCOMES
Evaluation outcomes for industrial training typically focus on assessing the knowledge,
skills, and competencies gained by the trainee during their practical experience. The evaluation
for industrial training is only pass or fail, and the grades are based on the logbook, the
performance and competency of the students throughout the internship term, as well as the
presentation and brief report. It's great to go into the internship training with clear expectations
and goals. Students should be able to apply their fundamental knowledge in practical settings
by the end of the internship time, and they may also succeed in the following goals:

4.1 INTRODUCTION
A count proofread and paraphrase is Proofreading rates are not fixed or standardized across the
industry. They depend on various factors, such as the type, length, and complexity of the
document, the deadline, the market demand, and the client's budget and expectations.
Proofreading rates also vary according to the proofreader's level of expertise, specialization,
and reputation. Some proofreaders charge by the word, some by the page, and some by the
hour. Each method has its pros and cons, and you need to choose the one that suits your style
and goals. Its precision and efficiency help to increase the overall database and project of the
proofread and paraphrase process.
Proofread and paraphrase are charging by the word is a common and simple way to
calculate your proofreading rate. It gives you a clear and consistent basis for quoting and
invoicing your clients. To charge by the word, you need to know the average number of words
you can proofread per hour and multiply it by your desired hourly rate. For example, if you can
proofread 2,000 words per hour and you want to earn $25 per hour, you can charge $0.0125
per word. You can adjust this rate depending on the difficulty and urgency of the project. This
is improves the service overall cost-effectiveness to helping to database. Charging by the page
is another popular way to calculate your proofreading rate. It works well for documents that
have a standard format and layout, such as books, academic papers, or reports. To charge by
the page, you need to define what counts as a page in terms of word count, font size, and
spacing. For example, you can consider a page to be 250 words, 12-point font, and double-
spaced. Then, you need to divide your desired hourly rate by the number of pages you can
proofread per hour. For example, if you can proofread 10 pages per hour and you want to earn
$25 per hour, you can charge $2.5 per pages.
33
Charging by the hour is a more flexible and accurate way to calculate your
proofreading rate. It allows you to account for the time you spend on researching,
communicating, and revising your work. It also reflects the quality and value of your
service, rather than the quantity and speed. To charge by the hour, you need to track your
time using a tool like Toggl or Harvest Then, you need to multiply your hours by your
desired hourly rate. For example, if you spend 3 hours on a project and you want to earn
$25 per hour, you can charge $75 for the project. Your hourly rate is the most important
factor in calculating your proofreading rate. It should reflect your skills, experience, and
expenses, as well as your personal and professional goals. The formula this Hourly rate
= (annual income + annual expenses) / annual billable hours. For example, if you want
to earn $50,000 per year, you have $10,000 in annual expenses, and you work 20 billable
hours per week.

6.1 CONCLUSION
As a MONT ROYALE COLLEGE undergraduate, I would like to mention that this training
program is a wonderful opportunity for students to be on the bottom floor and experience things
that a student would never have gained by going straight to any employment. I am grateful to
and recognize MONT ROYALE COLLEGE for providing students with the opportunity to
experience this, as well as MATHS PROOFREAD SDN BHD has been an enriching and
educational experience that has significantly contributed to my professional and personal
growth. Throughout the internship, I had the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in
practical scenarios, develop new skills, and gain a deeper understanding for providing me with
the opportunity to complete my internship time, I have gained a wealth of valuable knowledge.
During this internship, of the industrial training program is to give undergraduate students and
instructors the chance to recognize, observe, and teach way to counting proofread is used for
database everyday life and how services and demanding it can be. Furthermore, the purpose is
not limited to gaining services with customer it also involves observing management
techniques and fostering relationships with fellow coworkers, and have improved my ability to
work effectively within a team. Moreover, I have developed a deeper understanding of this
services of industry.
An undergraduate's industrial training semester is their only opportunity to gain this experience.
I believe I gained the most from the experience not just from working with my team worker
but also from discussions and meetings with the leading services, manager, and other interns.
In addition, I gained knowledge on how to operate in an organization, the value of punctuality,
the significance of giving your all, and the significance of teamwork.
62
correct attitude, and character. Along with learning about the software development profession,
I also improved my teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
Make sure to thank to all mentors or supervisors who have supported me throughout in
internship. This internship has been a very useful experience for me. I can safely say that my
understanding of the job environment has increased greatly. However, I do think that there are
some aspects of the job that I could have done better and that I need to work ourselves up and
fear of communicating with others coworkers they will help us progress from there. I get more
new experiences. I learn to them a lot of knowledge and they also teaching a lot of important
things. However, working this industries without understanding and tolerance is difficult. Every
problem has a solution, but we can only find it if we are willing to resolve things together
without criticizing one other for mistakes, as well as accept our colleagues and employer as
they are. Sensitivity is essential in the performance of activities entrusted to the common good,
whether performed individually or in groups.
In a nutshell, having Industrial Training as one of the subjects that students must complete
before receiving a Diploma or Certificate is a great concept. I wholeheartedly support the
Industrial Training concept that is being implemented among college and university students
because it allows students to be exposed to real working environments rather than staying in a
classroom doing practical tasks and listening to lectures for the duration of their semesters. The
experience has not only enhanced my teamwork and professional skills but also provided a
clearer direction for my career path. I feel more confident and prepared to training exposes
students to real-world job situations, allowing them to build a deeper understanding of the
course they are taking as well as knowledge outside of the courses they are taking.
Finally, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, Malaysia's industrialization is
accelerating. The experiences, skills, and relationships developed during this period will

undoubtedly influence my future. As a result, skilled labour is required in all areas. As we all
know, the younger generation is the future of this country, and they are the ones who will raise
the country's name by their good behaviour and talents. It is critical that the Institute of Higher
Education and industrial businesses plan and collaborate in order to generate a skilled
generation in the future.
