Situating Learning:
You are working as a Network Technician for a particular corporate company and you are assigned
to set-up the network for an administration department using the server-client based set-up. You are
informed that the network operating system to be use the windows server 2008 release 2 edition. The
Network Supervisor informed you that network connection will be coming from the network box that
contains the patch panel where all the computers connected including the server.
Before the network set-up, you have to ensure that the following tools and equipment including all the
software needed will be available, operational and organize:
 The place to be setup for the network is ready and designed for the server location only.
 The tools, equipment and materials including all the software is ready to use.
 The administrator together with all the users informed about the setting of the network.
 Prepare the network layout for the blue print before the setup.
 Start configuring the computer unit and manage the cable to be used for the network.
 Provide documentation after the setup for the report

At the network setup, you can test the network if it is accessible to all users including the administrator.
Then submit your documentation for the terminal report.
