Day - 1
Generate SR Colour With Reserve Mesh
visualization and filtering of the engineering solids for ease of validation and output.
• Before generating the solid engineering, user need to prepare one polygon as the outer limit of the
solid area.
Generate Engineering Solid
• Go To Menu Strip Planning – Mining Solid - Create
Setup-Model
Item Description
Design File and Select an existing Design File and Layer for the
Layer mining solid design elements
• The expression for the side definition can be simple to complex expression
• Validate button available to ensure the expression is correct.
Generate Engineering Solid – Continue
Design – Pit Shell Boundary
• Pick the polygon to apply the side definition (angle and offset) to the polygon
• The resulting polygon must have a unique name for each segment
• Will be used to project the designed pit shell highwall
Item Description
Select Side Wall for Type of Tagpoint
Tag of Tagpoint

for the first time, you will be
prompted to name the polygon

Calculate Reserve With Multipart Reserve
Loss and
Reserve Output To
Dilution
Notes:
• To generate loss and dilution, we will use accumulate sample table
Calculate Reserve With Multipart Reserve - Continue
Output To
• Output to function will reformat the accumulate table will be more concise
• Can be interval record or block record
Generate SR Colour with Reserve Mesh
• Go To Menu Reserve – Reserve Mesh
• The input will be accumulated table from multipart reserve and the mesh file (STRBLK) from solid engineering process
• The Setting panel can be used to generate Overbuden, Coal, Stripping Ratio, Cumulative Stripping Ratio, and Colour values.
• The results will be stored in an output table files columns with headers named accordingly
• User can edit the formula directly in the form
• The output will be table file and mesh file
Generate SR Colour with Reserve Mesh - Continue
• Available with tooltip function to display the information about the blocks

Formula OB =IF(C2<>”RESOURCE”,E2,AE2)
Coal =RAWRECMASS
SR = OB/Coal
Day 2
Generate Dump Design
Insert Ramp
Dump Area
Generating Pit Design ( Crest And Toe) - Continue
Insert Ramp and Generate Crest and Toe
3. Go To Insert Ramp and pick the location of the ramp in the polygon
4. Generate Crest and toe

Intersect Dump Design with the topography
1. Convert crest and toe designline to be lines format ( Menu CAD – Convert – (Pick the drop down list ) To Lines)
2. Create mesh file of the crest and to lines ( Menu CAD – Mesh – Create Surface )
3. Create mesh file of the topography ( Menu CAD – Mesh – Create Surface )
4. Display the mesh file of dump design and Topography, go to Menu CAD – Mesh – Surface Mesh – Intersect Line (
ensure the output layer are set as write design layer)
5. Convert the intersect line output tobe a polygon ( Design – Convert – To Polygon)
6. Intersect the crest and toe lines refer to the intersect line (Design – Element Utilities – Clip To Polygon)
