    UNITY WITH GOD

    ★ God the father, the creator of heaven and earth.


    ★ Jesus, the son of God, perfect. The true lamb of God who died so that we
    can accept him as our Lord and saviour and have eternal life.
    ★ The Holy Spirit. The working force of God on this earth. Can live inside of
    us if we pray for it to come into us.

    Your purpose - Doing what God wants you to do


    ★ It is easy to let our life take control. We try to go to church and youth group.
    We try to follow God and read the bible. The problem is that we don’t let
    Jesus guide our steps.
    Proverbs 16:9
    ‘The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.’
    Colossians 2:6-7
    ‘So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in
    him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and
    overflowing with thankfulness.’

    ★ It is easy to think that if God has a purpose for us, it’s for when we are
    adults. That we can’t do much because we are still at school, we don’t
    know enough.
    The truth is that we can make a difference now. Yes, we are still at school,
    but maybe that is where God wants us to share who He is. Yes, we are still
    learning, but maybe that can give us more opportunities to grow in faith
    and show that to other people.

    1 Timothy 4:12
    ‘Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
    for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.’
    Conduct = What you do.

    At church we can be an example of faith to the adults.


    At school we can show people how much they are loved.
    ★ To find out what God wants us to do with our own lives - right now and in
    the future - we need to ask Him. The more time we spend in His presence,
    the more we will find out what He wants us to do.
    ★ We all have gifts and talents that God has given us. We also have the Holy
    Spirit with us to guide us.
    1 Peter 4:10 - "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve
    others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

    ★ God is always moving. You are here today because God wants you to be
    here.
    ★ Your true identity is found in Christ. You are loved unconditionally, you are
    forgiven and you have a purpose.
    ★ Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
    Yay now we pray
    Ephesians 3:14-21
    14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in
    heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he
    may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that
    Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted
    and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy
    people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19
    and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the
    measure of all the fullness of God.

    20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
    according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church
    and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

    Psalm 133:1
    ‘How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!’
