    24 PORT 1U and 48 PORT 2U KEYSTONE JACK PATCH PANEL UNLOADED

    1.0 SCOPE
    This document describes the installation instructions for the 24 1U and 48 Port 2U Unloaded Keystone
    Jack Panels.

    2.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION


    The Keystone Jack Patch Panels are 19” unloaded patch panels designed to accommodate 24 or 48
    UTP or Shielded Keystone Jacks.

    3.0 PROCEDURE
    a) Terminate the Keystone Jacks following the installation instruction sheet supplied with the
    relevant Keystone Jacks.

    b) Snap the jacks into the into the panel. Tilt the jack into position: locate the small latches at the
    bottom of the jack and position these at the bottom of the load bar, then position the large latch
    on the top of the jack facing upward and secure in the load bar. Use slim screwdriver to push latch
    for mounting and remove jack from the Patch Panel. Fig. 1. Note: Slim screwdriver are not
    supplied.

    c) Secure each cable on to the cable management tray with a cable tie. Fig 2 .

    d) When installing Shielded Keystone Jacks ensure that the panel is earthed using the earthing stud
    and nut provided. Fig 2 & Fig.3 Note: Earthing cables are not supplied.

    e) Utilize the panel labelling feature for clear patch panel identification. Slide the paper label into the
    label holder provided and snap into the label holder. Fig. 4
