CAM 1 - Dedicated Camera Port With Jumbo Frames Enabled And Windows File Sharing Disabled
CAM 2 - Dedicated Camera Port With Jumbo Frames Enabled And Windows File Sharing Disabled
CAM 3 - Dedicated Camera Port With Jumbo Frames Enabled And Windows File Sharing Disabled
CAM 4 - Dedicated Camera Port With Jumbo Frames Enabled And Windows File Sharing Disabled
CAM 5 - Designed For A 5th Camera Port With Jumbo Frames Enabled, However, Windows File
Sharing Is Enabled And You May Setup A Default Gateway For This Port
PLC – Dedicated PLC Port. Jumbo Frames Are NOT Enabled, And You May Setup A Default
Gateway For This Port
Connecting Cameras

Connect Your PLC To The Ether-Inspect Dedicated PLC Port


This Is The Ethernet Port In The Upper Left

• Do Not Connect Power Until Peripherals Are Connected


Optional Connection To A Network Using The CAM 5 Port

If You Need To Connect To A Network You May Connect Through Camera Port 5

• Do Not Connect Power Until Peripherals Are Connected


Powering Up the PC

Connect the PC to the Proper Power Source


• Place The +24VDC Wire In The Top Terminal Labeled “+”
• Place The 0VDC Wire In The 2nd Terminal Labeled “-”
• The 0VDC Should Be Connected To PE/Ground At The Power Supply
• The PC Will Startup Automatically When Power Is Cycled
Startup Screen
1. As the PC is Starting Up The Screen Will Look Like This
IP Configuration Tool
After The Startup Screen Has Completed The IP Configuration
Tool Will Run To Configure ALL Ethernet Ports
• DO NOT Perform Any Operations Until The
IP Configuration Tool Has Completed And Icon Is Gone
Launching Ether-Inspect
Ether-Inspect Will Launch Automatically When The PC Is Booting Up
Launching Ether-Inspect
To Launch Ether-Inspect After
Manually Closing Application:
• Click On the Start Button
• Click On the First Icon From
the Bottom
IP Addressing
To Change the IP Address of A Camera:
1. Launch the IP Configuration Tool By Selecting The Go To IP Config Tool
2. A Window Will Open To Let You Know That Ether-Inspect Will Shut Down
3. Select Yes
Camera Connection Status
The Opening Screen Will Look Like This If Camera IP Addresses Are Correct
