Technical Characteristics
RF i-Touch Switches & Fan Regulator 103249
This i-Touch panel comprises of 2 RF i-Touch switches, 1 i-Touch Fan Regulator and a Master switch.
The RF i-Touch switches are designed to control resistive, inductive and capacitive loads in residential
and commercial premises. They can be operated manually, by using the RF remote control (103268)
or i-Home Gateway (101646). The Fan Regulator is designed with high quality capacitors for humming
free operation. The touch panel is compatible for scene settings & scheduling. Super luxurious in
appearance, the LEDs make it easier and convenient to operate the device in the dark.

Operations
a) Manual: The connected fan can be switched ON or OFF by briefly touching any of the fan keys. To control the speed of the fan, press the
High/Low fan key till the fan achieves the speed that you desire. The RF i-Touch Switches are provided with feather touch keys to switch the
corresponding device ON or OFF. All the three devices can be operated together by Master key.
b) Through Remote: To switch the fan ON or OFF, press the number on the Remote assigned to the Fan Regulator. To control the speed of the fan,
first press Up/Down ( / ) on the Remote as per your requirement. Then press and hold the assigned number on the Remote till the desired
speed of the fan is achieved. The individual switches can be operated through the Remote by pressing the assigned button on the Remote.
c) Through i-Home Gateway: The RF Touch switch can be controlled by smart phones, computers etc. Please refer to the i-Home Gateway manual
for instructions.
Memory Function: i) If power goes OFF, by default the switches will resume in OFF position irrespective of whether the RF Switch was ON or OFF.
In case of the Fan regulator, it will retain its previous status when power returns. a) If you’d like the Switches to return to their previous status every
time power returns after a power failure, do the following: long press the respective switch key for around 15 seconds till you hear 2 beep sounds
(please ignore the first beep that you will hear after 7 seconds).
b) If you’d like the Fan Regulator to return to OFF mode every time power returns after a power failure, long press any of the fan regulator keys for
around 15 seconds till you hear 2 beep sounds (please ignore the first beep that you will hear after 7 seconds).

ii) To erase Remote settings for the Switch and to reset its memory to default settings, press the Master key for 20 seconds.

1) RF Remote Control
The RF Remote Control enables you to create 8 scene settings and control up to 29 RF devices in your home or office. The RF technology used
ensures that you can control these devices even across physical barriers. You therefore needn't point the remote control at the device. The
RF Remote thus provides 360 degrees of control!

2) i-Home Gateway
The i-Home Gateway lets you control everything from lights to fans to drapes and other RF functions from anywhere in the world. Simply synchronize
the RF devices once with the i-Home Gateway application and then schedule scenes or control individual devices using your smart phone, computer
or any other smart computing device. Your home or office is now intelligent!

• Requires one-time programming of RF devices with the i-Home Gateway
application for remote and scheduled operations
• Can control up to 4 Remote Controls. Each Remote can be used to
set up 8 scenes and 29 devices.
• Once setup is complete, you can control all RF devices from anywhere
in the world. Distance and location will no longer be factors in controlling
the electrical equipment in your home or office.
• The i-Home Gateway application works over the Internet, Mobile and LAN
networks. Connection between application and device is through a router.
• All functions available on the RF Remote can be performed using the
i-Home Gateway. This includes operating individual switches, fan
regulators, dimmers, drape controllers and setting scenes.
• In addition to Remote functions, the i-Home Gateway can be used to
schedule device as well as scene timings.

Safety instruction
• Electrical equipment must be installed and fitted by a qualified electrician only.
• The electronic switches are single pole switches and disconnect only one pole when they are OFF.
• To prevent electric shock, disconnect both the poles of the main supply, before working on the appliance.
• Failure to observe any of the installation instructions may result in fire and other safety hazards.

Warranty
All electronic devices are warranted against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase. In the event of defects, Goldmedal
will repair or, at its discretion, replace the warranted product if delivered to a Goldmedal authorized dealer along with a duly stamped guarantee
card and sales receipt that shows the date of purchase along with the serial no. of the product. This warranty excludes defects due to abnormal
load, abuse or failure to use the product in accordance with the instructions. Goldmedal shall not be liable for any other damages, whether
incidental, consequential or otherwise.
