HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
Dear Students
Summer Holidays are the times that we all eagerly wait for. You can do the things that you love like dancing, painting,
yoga, spending time with family and friends but do not let your books feel alone. Reading, writing and learning should
be your regular habit. This summer holiday homework has been set to inspire you to explore, engage, act and
experience. The activity based assignment will foster curiosity and creativity and inculcate the joy of learning,
confidence and perfection.

SUBJECT-ENGLISH

1 Paint your best beautiful seven days of holidays in different colours on plain punch sheets, telling the story of
those beautiful moments of holidays that you spent with your family. Give a title to every page.
2 Write the formation of four sub parts of all three main tenses along with one example on lined punchsheet.
3.Copy the paragraph given on the first pg of Ch.Determiner and underline the determiners ,list them down and
write their kinds infront of them.
4 Learn and practice all the work done in literature and language copy

SUBJECT-SCIENCE

General Instructions - All the written work is to be done in A4 pages.


Activity 1 Topic – Crop Production and Management
As all of you have studied in Chapter 1 – Crop Production and management that how crops are planted and taken
care of. So in this summer vacation all of you have to become the farmers. You have to follow each and every step
of crop production and take a snap of each step. Later compile all the snap and make a power point presentation of
each step.
1- Take a small pot and fill it with soil
2- Add manure or fertilizer ( less quantity) and mix it with the soil.
3- Now dig a small hole and plant a seed of your choice.
4- Now water it daily at least for once and take care of it. Do not water the soil too much or it will cause the root to rot.
5- Remove the weeds if there are any.
6- Enjoy the growing plant day by day as it’s due to your hard work. Take a snap of the growing sapling.
7- At the end of the vacation take a picture of the full plant and compile all the pictures in a power point presentation.
8- In the end also write a note on a punch paper of your experience, difficulties faced by you and resolution taken for it.
Activity – 2
Make a model of Plant cell/Animal cell on a card board or paper mache.Using things available at home
.Even working model with lights can be made.

1. Revise and learn Chapter1- Networking Concepts


2. Write about networking and networking devices. Define types of networking. Do this in punch paper.
3. Create a chart on SDG – Different goals of SDG.
