Description of coverage
Territoriality
Treatments and medical services received anywhere in the world, USA excluded, are covered under the policy, subject to
payment of the premium as well as the reimbursement rates, ceilings and exclusions of the policy.
Cigna will cover medically necessary testing for COVID-19 in line with the policy´s coverage terms for diagnostics for other
illnesses, and according to the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines. For any members diagnosed with COVID-19,
Cigna covers treatment for illnesses designated as a pandemic in line with policy coverage terms and in the same way as any
other illness.
Evacuation / repatriation
Emergency medical evacuation to the nearest hospital where treatment can be given is included.

Special provisions
Other intervention
Reimbursements will be made after exhaustion of the right to reimbursement to which the insured is entitled for the same
guarantee from another insurance (social security or other), if such a clause is provided in the policy.

a) This certificate was issued on 22 May 2024, generated on the basis of membership data registered in the records of Cigna at the same date.
Without prejudice to b), this certificate will be valid for submission to whom it may concern within one month as from the date of issuance.
