Business Model Canvas

The Business Model Canvas serves as a visual framework for

comprehensively outlining the fundamental elements required to
launch and operate a business. It encapsulates crucial aspects
such as customer relationships, distribution channels, value
propositions, and financial considerations. The canvas
encompasses key components such as key activities, key partners,
channels, value proposition, customer segments, revenue streams,
key resources, cost structure, and customer relationships.

Operation Plan

To make the pastil and java rice, wash and boil chicken,
add salt, pepper, and bay leaves, and mince it. Chop onions and
garlic, then heat a pan on the stove. Add minced garlic, onions,
chicken breast, stock, vinegar, chicken cubes, chicken powder,

sugar, pepper powder, and soy sauce. Mix until melted, then add

powder, and add soy sauce. For the java rice, heat a pan on the
stove, add oil, minced garlic, margarine, corn, green beans,

a yellowish color. Mix to combine flavors and serve.

Financial Aspect

These sections provide the financial information that will

be used in our Java Flakes business. First, the beginning cost
comprises all of the expenses required for the business to
begin operations. The business will incur a total start-up cost
of P600,000.00 Second, all partners contribute
financing/capital, which is split equally among its members in
the sum of P100,000.00 each. Third, the estimated daily sales
are P7,000; monthly sales are P217,000; and annual sales are
P79,205,000 Fourth, the expected operational expenses totaling
Php124,200.00 the year 2024. Fifth, the estimated cost of sales
and markup are calculated for all of the materials required to
manufacture our Java Flakes, and the markup rate formula is
equal to markup divided by cost of sale. Finally, the projected
income statement, projected financial position, projected cash
flow, and projected statement of changes in owner's equity are
computed on a daily, monthly, and annual basis. We see our cost
of production in this strategy for how we will spend money
depending on what we anticipate and how our finances will
appear if we ever started selling in the near future.

Socio- Economic Aspects

Java Flakes, as a product, is subject to various external

factors that can significantly impact its production and market

performance. On the political front, government regulations

related to food safety and sanitation play a crucial role,
potentially affecting both production processes and sales.
Additionally, laws governing the import and export of essential
ingredients may influence the price and availability of Java
Flakes. Economically, consumer spending on the product may be
susceptible to factors such as inflation or recession, while
trade agreements and exchange rates can impact the overall cost
of acquiring ingredients. The social landscape is another
dimension, where dietary trends and cultural preferences can
shape the market for Java Flakes. Changing lifestyles and a
growing focus on health-conscious choices may also affect
consumer decisions. From a technological standpoint,
advancements in food processing and packaging can enhance the
production and distribution of Java Flakes. Furthermore,
leveraging e-commerce and digital marketing can expand the
product's reach to a broader audience. The interplay of these
political, economic, social, and technological factors
underscores the need for Java Flakes to adapt strategically to
its external environment for sustained success in the market.

explore and appreciate the diverse flavors and cooking methods
of different regions.

4. Affordability

affordable and locally available ingredients. This makes it an
accessible option for a wide range of people.

5. Convenience

The banana leaf wrapping not only imparts a unique flavor

but also serves as a convenient and eco-friendly way to package
the dish for consumption.

6. Satiety

7. Local Economy Support

If pastil is prepared and sold locally, it can contribute

to the support of local farmers, markets, and businesses.

E. OPERATIONAL PLAN
The first thing we did is we bought the ingredients to
make the pastil and the java rice. After we finished buying, we
immediately separated the things that we needed to start making
the pastil. First, we washed the chicken and boiled it until it
was half cooked. We also put salt, pepper and also bay leaves.
After a couple of minutes, we let the chicken cool and we mince
it. Second, we chopped the ingredients that we needed to start
cooking the pastil. The first one is onion, second one is the
garlic and we set aside it after that we put the pan in the
stove and wait for it to heat after we check the pan that is
already hot, we put an oil on the heating pan and a couple of
minutes we put the minced garlic in the hot pan and wait for a

couple of seconds and then we add the minced onions and mixed
it together until we can see a little bit of golden brown. We
then added the minced chicken breast and mixed it again. We add
the chicken stock and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. We didn’t mix it
until it boiled and absorbed the ingredients. Minutes pass,
then we add a 1 piece of chicken cubes and mix it again until
it has already melted. After mixing it in a minute we add 1
tablespoon of chicken powder, sugar and pepper powder, then add
a soy sauce. We just measured it to know the taste if it’s
already enough and we’re done with the pastil.

For Java Rice, first we put the pan on the stove and let
it hot and when the pan is already hot, we add the oil then add
the minced garlic and some margarine and we mix the ingredients
which are corn, green beans, and carrots. After a minute of
mixing, it we add the rice which is plain rice and start mixing
it together to combine the flavors then add ginisa mix and
oyster sauce and the last but not the least is the achuete to
add a yellowish color for the rice, mix it and we’re done with
the java rice.
