Subject: Internship opportunity at ODOB Consulting

Duration of Internship – 3 to 4 weeks. The duration of this internship would be 1 month, starting
from May 2024 and would end on June 2023.

During the period of this internship, you are expected to contribute at least 2-3 hours every day,
and assist in testing and launch, including understanding the platform to enter data and to test it
along with the team to make it launch ready.

During your internship, as a representative of ODOB, you are expected to maintain the highest
order of professionalism during all meetings, client discussions, as well as digitally on all online
platforms.

As an Intern, your role will focus on assisting the testing and the launch of Workload platform:

Workload Platform Outline


• Summary – Work-load.com is an industry agnostic analytics, process mining and workforce
planning platform that offers customers actionable organization and talent insights at scale.
• Background - Our solution is backed by nearly 7 years of deep research on workforce
planning that demonstrates a need for workforce planning tools to help organizations
perform self-service planning to monitor demand and supply

Platform users – There are 3 distinct users


1. Employees
2. Managers (team leaders)
3. Client SPOC (leadership level decision makers) - MD, CEO, CFO, CHRO

Key User Actions –


1. Employee inputs workload information based on job descriptions, key objectives, standard
operating procedures. Data inputs provided by the employee include individual or identical
/ similar role based “individual workload” data. This data is captured in a standard format
that includes activity, sub-activity, tools, frequency, time taken and volumes by activity, to
calculate individual workload against “standard available hours in a given year”
2. Manager or Team leader validates data provided by the employee and classifies activities
into Red, Amber and Green, defined as Non-value adding, Necessary but Non-value adding
and Value adding based on definitions / own judgement, adding Remarks. The Manager is
notified of team members who are under-utilized or over-utilized
3. Client SPOC (leadership level decision makers) receives organization-wide data and a
summary of collective Red, Amber and Green data by teams. Further perform analytics of
workforce and workload data

Confidentiality and non-disclosure

During your internship, you will be exposed to various kinds of proprietary and confidential
information. All this information would be shared with you with the sole purpose of developing your
capabilities as a management consultant. You are not authorised to disclose and / or share any
information that you access during this internship with anybody outside ODOB Consulting during or
after the completion of this internship.
Breach of this condition shall attract legal proceedings as applicable by the laws of India and will be
heard in the jurisdiction of the courts of Madras, Tamil Nadu.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Experience in Computer Science or Computer Applications


• Time Management
• Willingness to support in data entry and testing of application, provide feedback
• Good quantitative and analytical skills (MS Excel)
• Good English language skills, both written / spoken and strong interpersonal skills
• Primary Job location – Chennai. Remote Work
