Your English-speaking neighbour, Eli, borrowed a book from you. You need the book back. Write an email to Eli.
In your email, explain why you want it back and tell where Eli can meet you.
C/CA = 3/5
O/L = 4/5
TOTAL = 7/10
Reason:
C – doesn’t fit the element or task
CA – idea is limited (could cause misunderstanding)
O – flow is okay
L – a lot of errors / uses simple connectors / can use simple vocabulary / errors don’t impede the meaning

C/CA = 5/5
O/L = 4/5
TOTAL = 9/10
Reason:
C – answers the question
CA – fully informed on the email.
O – organised / use of linkers or connectors despite some errors
L – simple/basic, can understood despite the errors which means the errors don’t impede the meaning of the
text.

C = 2/5
CA = 2/5
O/L = 1/5
TOTAL = 5/15

C – doesn’t answer to the rubric but it’s about the title which means there is some content in there
CA – attempt to communicate some idea but don’t know how to relay those ideas / number of errors.
O – direct lifting (basically copying the details in the poster without trying to make simple sentences)
L – errors which impede the meaning of the text

TOTAL = 12/15
Reason:

O – arranged in a flow
L – simple vocab used correctly / noticeable error but doesn’t affect the meaning
