1. Differentiate the following terms and provide examples for each type of learning delivery
modes. You may use graphic organizers in presenting your answers.

a. Macro Teaching
b. Team Teaching
c. Individual Teaching
d. Online teaching

2. What are the components of the 4A’s Lesson Plan format. Define each part/component.

Activity
According to Deped Philippines (2019) the activity component of the 4A's lesson plan involves engaging
students in a hands-on or interactive task that introduces or explores a specific concept or skill. It serves as a
starting point to capture students' interest and activate prior knowledge.

Analysis
The analysis stage focuses on helping students understand the key components or principles underlying the
activity they just completed. It involves guided questioning, discussion, or reflection to deepen students'
comprehension of the topic (Ayani & Shurman 2019)

Abstraction
Abstraction involves generalizing the concepts or principles learned during the analysis stage to broader ideas
or real-world applications. It encourages students to identify patterns, make connections, and apply their
understanding in new contexts (Santos 2021).

Application
The application stage involves providing opportunities for students to apply the concepts or skills they have
learned to solve problems, complete tasks, or create products. It encourages active learning and reinforces
understanding through practical application (Subair & Abdul 2018)

3. What type of teaching mentioned in question no. 1 do you think is the most effective? Why?
If I were to ask about the most effective teaching, it would be team teaching. Because with the
help of multiple instructors, we can assure that the student's learning will become more
enhanced. Every student will get the attention that they needed and the support from different
instructors. As we observe in our educational situation, some of the learners if not given
attention may not improve their studies because of lack of guidance from a single instructor.
Other students are also hard to deal with because of their behavior especially if there's only
one instructor to manage them. But with the help of team teaching. Different methods from
different instructors will help students to enrich their learning experiences. The instructors can
also collaborate when creating a lesson plan, so that they will accomplish the target objectives.
In conclusion, team teaching fosters a collaborative relationship between the instructors.
Making the teaching very effective and ensure the success of the students.

4. How important is lesson planning in the teaching and learning process?

Lesson planning in the teaching and learning process is very important for both
teachers and students. Lesson plan serves as roadmap or blueprint for teachers when it
comes into their teaching delivery. With the help of it, they can successfully deliver their
content and achieve the objectives. It also helps them manage their time. Because lesson plan
contains topic that has time limit.

When it comes into learning. It gives different opportunities for students and
engagement. Lesson planning for learning scaffolds the students and guide them to reach the
objectives that was included in it. The complicated lessons can be dissected and become
different activities so that the students could absorb the knowledge little by little.

Furthermore, lesson plan also helps the teacher to adjust and innovate their
teaching if the objectives are not met. So that he/she can ensure that the next
discussions/activities will become more effective and the students will learn more from what
he/she was teaching.

5. What do you find most difficult to do in the process of planning a lesson? Explain your answer.

The most difficult thing to do when planning a lesson is when we are considering the learners
preferred way of learning. We all know that students have different ways or preferences when it comes to their
leaning. That's why it is very difficult when adapting to different learning styles. We need to make sure that
every student would get the proper learning and knowledge that they need. Because if not, they might not
catch up to what we were studying. Student will not learn and might not get interested in our lessons anymore.
It is also difficult for me to think about certain activities that is exact with our time limit. Minimum
time of lesson plan is between 45 minutes to 1 hour. We need to make sure that the activities we were about to
give to the students will fit the time frame provided in the lesson plan. Because it might alter the lesson we
were about to conduct for tomorrow. Every planned activity will be delayed due to the poor planned activities
that doesn't match with the time.
