“A RESOLUTION PERTAINING FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING POTABLE


WATER SYSTEM AT BARANGAY KASUGA, MAGSAYSAY, DAVAO DEL SUR”

WHEREAS, the demand of potable water supply had increased more specially in the area of
Barangay Kasuga, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur;

WHEREAS, one of the priority projects of the barangay council is to provide water system in the
barangay that can supply potable water to the residents;

WHEREAS, the barangay had insufficient fund to provide the numbered request of residents for
potable water system in order to sustain their needs;

WHEREAS, the said project shall be implemented by the Provincial Government of Davao del
Sur, the beneficiary of which shall be the Barangay Government of Kasuga, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur;

WHEREAS, as required under the provision of P.D. 1067, otherwise known as the Water Code of
the Philippines, a permit / authority shall be secured from the Council for the Construction of Potable
Water System;

WHEREFORE, upon motion of Hon. Herbert Irish T. Rivera, duly seconded by Hon. Agustina
S. Gabion, be it;

RESOLVED, as it is HEREBY RESOLVED, pertaining for the Construction of Potable Water


System as per demand of the residents of Barangay Kasuga, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur and to apply for a
Water Permit from the National Water Resource Board.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to the Provincial Government of


Davao del Sur for information and guidance of action.
