 1. MOTIVATION OF THE BUSSINESS IDEA

Poultry farming is a thriving industry with a high demand for poultry product such
as egg and meat, however traditional method of poultry farming have their
limitation to satisfy the demand across the country, Specially the egg incubation
process. This limitation motivates us to engage with a business idea focused on
poultry farm business with automatic egg incubator. This business seeks to provide
a turnkey solution catered to the needs of modern poultry farmers by addressing
the limitation of traditional incubation method and taping into the benefit offered
by automation technology.

2. OBJECTIVE OF THE BUSINESS IDEA

The objective of this business proposal is to establish poultry farming venture that
integrates the use of automated egg incubator to revolutionize the incubation
process and efficiency and productivity. The business aims to provide poultry
farmers with reliable and user friendly solution that enables them to significantly
improve hatching success rate and reduce labor requirement. We also aims to
optimize their resource allocation, reduce operational complexities and enhance

resource potentials constraints and opportunity for intervention by the private
sector 2008 ” In Ethiopia chicken is primarily a backyard operation with a few
low productivity. The egg and meat produced in this way are insufficient to supply
the increased demand for egg and poultry meat in metropolitan area. The price of
egg and meat has been steadily rising. This indicates that the demand for poultry
also rising.

The infrastructure needed to the poultry farm are the land, the feed and the
equipment since our country Ethiopia has no limitation of water and natural
resource like land. So, we can easily access the land and water needed for our
poultry farm. There are also companies that distributes the incubator and the feed
for chickens so being the customer of such companies is not difficult .therefore the
infrastructure needed for this business are easily affordable.

The team member of this business owner are mechanical and computer engineering
student we have a skill on solid work design , ardiuno protues , welding, and
machining ,so we can develop the prototype of this business easily and we can say
it is technically feasible.

4.2 Scalability of poultry farm

The automatic egg incubator based poultry business has the advantage of
scalability due to its efficient and precise operation’ as the incubator manages the
vital process of incubation, it reduces the need for manual intervention and
allowing for increased scalability. The use of automatic incubator reduces the
traditional limitation regarding space and labor .with the ability to incubate large
number of egg simultaneously and maintain optimal condition for development
the business can expand its capacity without the need for additional space or
excessive man power. additionally an automated system improves the accuracy
and reliability of monitoring and controlling variables such as temperature
