Objectives: Establish relationships between the changes inherent to age and the care to be taken
into account for good growth. Seek information from various sources, including interviews with
pediatricians and dentists, about the growth and development of people throughout life.

Recognizes the importance of carrying out certain healthy practices, such as frequent brushing of
teeth, reducing the consumption of sweets, including vegetables in the diet, carrying out physical
activities, playing, among others.
Assessment:
It will be carried out based on teacher observation and student intervention in class. Also the
resolution of the tasks to specify if the concepts have been correctly acquired.
Class 1
Through a series of questions, find out the students' prior knowledge. Take registration.
Suggestions: What is health? What is the disease? Can diseases be prevented? As? What are
healthy habits? Do you know any? What does it mean to eat healthy? Are there standards linked
to health care? What people and what places are related to health care?
After recording the responses, explain to the children that the proposal is for them to put together
a healthy living campaign for the entire school. In order to do so, they must first work and
investigate several issues.

The following question will be asked:
How do we take care of our body?
When asking the question, each child expresses his or her answer and exchanges with his or her
classmates.
A poster is displayed to the children that contains all the actions that must be taken to take care
of personal hygiene and the body.
The students will have a photocopy of each image and will write below what action each child is
doing.

We answer and discuss with each other, then each one writes a response:
1. What could be the cause of Juan's irritated eyes and stomach pain?
3. Could John have had fun at recess and not feel sick later?
4. At what moments did Juan expose his health? Because? Could I have acted differently?
5. Do things similar to what Juan experienced during his recess happen to you?

Class 8
Reading an informative text, each student will have a copy of it. They will do the reading
individually.
Then a space will be opened to exchange ideas and the main ideas will be noted through dictation
to the teacher who will write on a poster so that the record remains in the classroom.
