This reinsurance excludes loss damage liability or expense arising from the outbreak of war (whether there be a declaration of
Standard Conditions and Warranties war or not) between any of the following countries: United Kingdom, United States of America, France, Russian Federation
and the Peoples Republic of China. For the avoidance of doubt this exclusion is deemed to encompass the invocation of
Collective Defence of NATO as detailed in Article 5 of the The North Atlantic Treaty.
High Risk Area (HRA warranty) Warranted that in respect of Interest involving movement of cargo during the ocean leg for
transits that are either commencing from and/or destined to High Risk Area (HRA) shall be excluded for Institute War Clauses
(Cargo) 1/1/2009 and Institute Strikes Clauses (Cargo) 1/1/2009 risks. Coverage for War/SRCC risks for Shipments transiting
the aforementioned areas can be opted by the insured on giving prior intimation before transit inception to Underwriters and
Standard Conditions and Warranties insurers having agreed to provide cover with a minimum additional Gross Rate of 0.025% chargeable on the final sum insured
value of shipment as a separate insurance cover/policy.
HRA shipments are defined as transits that are either commencing from and/or destined to following countries.U.A.E, Bahrain,
Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia.Base Cargo premium rates to apply in addition to War & SRCC premium for each of
such shipments. Any amendment in warranty shall be subject to 7 days notice.
Standard Conditions and Warranties Institute Replacement Clause 01.12.2008 Clause No. ILU CL372 - Applicable for New Goods Only
NO cover for War, Strikes, Riots and Civil Commotion Risks, for all transits to, from and within Ukraine, Ukraine territorial
Standard Conditions and Warranties waters, Russian Black Sea territorial waters, Sea of Azov, Russian Black Sea ports, Sea of Azov ports and Russian territories
within 200kms of the Ukrainian border
PARAMOUNT WAR AND STRIKES CANCELLATION CLAUSE
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary stated herein or subsequently added hereto, it is understood and agreed that if this
contract provides that losses arising from war and strikes, riot and civil commotions risks are covered hereunder, then the
cover afforded by this contract in respect of such war and strikes, riot and civil commotions risks shall be subject to terms and
Standard Conditions and Warranties conditions no wider than the relevant London Institute War Clauses current at the inception of the original risk written, or
current ay the later of either the inception date of the most recent anniversary date of this contract.
The cover for losses arising from war and strike, riot and civil commotions risk under this contract is at all times subject to
seven days notice of cancellation by either party Such period of notice to commence not later than seven days from the date
of notice given by the reinsurers.
Russia, Ukraine and Belarus Exclusion
Excluded from coverage are all losses, liabilities, costs or expenses, or any other amount arising out of, originating from,
resulting from, caused by and/or contributed by, regardless of any other cause or event contributing concurrently or in any
Standard Conditions and Warranties sequence thereto, or otherwise in connection with the current Russia-Ukraine armed hostilities/conflict which commenced on
the 24th February 2022 including any expansion of such conflict. This also includes confiscation, expropriation, nationalization,
deprivation or restraining in movement of vessels and cargo in the territory of the aforementioned countries.
Tail-End Transit Risk (CIF/CIP or similar import):Where risk originating from any Indian port/ airport the coverage will be as per
Standard Conditions and Warranties Inland Transit (Rail/Road) Clause-B including the risk of SRCC only.
Standard Conditions and Warranties Warranted cargo is carried in closed wagon/vehicle adequately covered with serviceable tarpaulin
Standard Conditions and Warranties Warranted cargo is new and not secondhand
Warranted cargo is not ODC (Over-Dimensional Cargo with dimensions length > 12.5 meter, height > 2.5 meter, width > 2.5
