Jobs
TRANSFORMATIVE LEADER
Steve Jobs' Life Story
Steve Jobs was born in 1955 to Joanne
Carole Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali,
who later put him up for adoption. He was
adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs and grew
up in California.

Jobs showed an early interest in

electronics, learned from his father, and
was introduced to computers in school.

Despite not enjoying formal schooling,

Jobs showed remarkable intelligence and
met future Apple co-founder Steve
Wozniak during this time.
Steve Jobs' Life Story
He briefly attended college but dropped out,
focusing on creative classes and technical
tinkering.

Jobs co-founded Apple with Wozniak and

Ronald Wayne, leading to revolutionary
products like the Apple I and II computers.

He later led Pixar Animation Studios and

returned to Apple, overseeing its transformation
into a major tech company.

His life was tragically cut short when he passed

away in 2011 due to complications from
pancreatic cancer.
“In the Macintosh Division, you had to
prove yourself every day, or Jobs got rid of
you,” wrote Guy Kawasaki, a former Apple
employee and now chief evangelist of
Canva, in a piece for CNBC.
