Give support for teachers to teach better
1. Provide professional development programs
2. Provide support in terms of innovative, responsive, and inclusive teaching approaches following the
Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST).
3. Capacitate our teachers and learners in utilizing technology in remote learning to maximize the benefits
of digital learning.
4. Provide training and other learning and development interventions for school leaders

systematic method of selecting employees
on the basis of their qualifications, fitness,
and ability to perform the duties and
assume the responsibilities of the position
being filled.” (DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2002)

QUALIFICATION STANDARD FOR SCHOOL HEADS
Head Teacher I
- At least 12 MA units in the field of administration,
supervision, leadership and management
- 1 year as TIC/Designated Dept. Head
- 24 hours relevant training
- At least very satisfactory (3 rating periods)
Head Teacher II
- At least 24 MA units in the field of administration,
supervision, leadership and management
- 1 year as Head Teacher I
- 24 hours relevant training
- At least very satisfactory (3 rating periods)

- At least CAR (Completed Academic Requirements) in
the field of administration, supervision, leadership and
