Underline the incorrect verb form and write the correct verb form in simple
past tense in the blank at the end of each sentence-

A farmer placing nets on his newly sown plough lands ___________

Read the passage and answer the questions given below-

It is expected that India, in its INDC (Intended Nationally Determined


Contribution), will focus more on its renewable energy goal and its
emphasis on efficient use of energy. The targets through INDCs by all
countries will be the basis of a global climate deal which is expected to be
signed in Paris in December.

The Prime Minister during a meeting, for the grounding of INDC, also

Read the following passage –

Go ahead, give your kids pizza. Just maybe not so much of it. A new study
found that American kids take in more calories, fat and salt on days they eat
pizza. That's not necessarily because it's worse than a burger. It has a lot to
do with the way pizza lends itself to snacking - and overindulging.

When pizza was on the menu, kids ages 2 to 11 years consumed 84 more
calories and 134 more milligrams of sodium than on days they didn't eat the
food, while teens took in an extra 230 calories and 484 milligrams of
sodium, research published an American Newspaper showed.

Now a day government is the biggest means of earning and every person
wants to be a government servant so that he / she would have all the
present - time luxuries without shedding much of sweat. This leads the
public servants to think about their own wellness and welfare. A step further
are our politicians, who are usually followed by those who procure jobs in
the government offices. Motivation to grab money flows from the office of
the elected minister and continues till the peon of the government's office.
