OFFERTORY
Take out the chalice of the oblata set and arrange accordingly. Priest takes the PATEN
and says in a low voice:

for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you:
fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life.

If the priest says the prayer in a loud voice, the people will respond with:
℟: Blessed be God for ever.
Places it back on the altar and takes the chalice, if the deacon has not yet poured water
and wine, he will pour the water and wine saying:
By the mystery…
of this water and wine may we come to share in the divinity of Christ who humbled
himself to share in our humanity.

REMOVE THE PALL when pouring for chalice and proceed. The priest holds the CHALICE
and says in a low voice:
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation…
for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you:
fruit of the vine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.

If the priest says the prayer in a loud voice, the people will respond with:

After the prayer above, COVER THE CHALICE WITH PALL. The priest takes a few steps
back and says:

may we be accepted by you, O Lord, and may our sacrifice in your sight this day be
pleasing to you, Lord God.
Then BOWS.

If incense is used, the altar server/s holding the thurible and boat will approach the priest, the
priest will scoop and incense the gifts and altar.

The priest will wash his hands at the LAVABO saying:


Wash me, O Lord…
from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

The priest extends his hands and then joining his hands saying:
Pray, brethren (brothers and sisters),
that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
℟: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name,
for our good and the good of all his holy Church.
The priest extends his hands and says the PRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS
℟: Amen

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER WITH PREFACE

The Lord be with you.

It is truly right and just, our duty and salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father most holy,
