18. Case study . A horse is tied to a pole at the centre of a rectangular field 100 m long and 80 m broad
by a 14 m long rope . It is left to graze . Based on the above information, answer the following
questions:
(i) What area of the field is available to it for grazing?
(iii) Next day the horse is tied to the corner of the field by the same rope, how much an will it be
able to graze on?
OR
If the horse is tied at mid point of any side of rectangular field by a 14 m long rope , what area of
field is available to it for grazing ?
