NEWSLETTER 3 UPDATE

1. PTA AGM MEETING


The PTA AGM meeting will take place on Saturday, 1st June 2024, at Power House at 10:00 AM. We
urge all parents and guardians to reserve this day to attend this important meeting.

2. INTER-HOUSE AND ISAZ COMPETITION


The Inter-House and ISAZ Competition will take place on 8th and 15th June 2024, respectively. The
school has arranged the Inter-House competition as part of the preparatory event to select the team
that will compete in the ISAZ Inter-School competition to be held at Rhodes Park.
Training sessions for House members will be conducted as follows;
 Monday Baobab - Red House
 Tuesday Acacia - Yellow House
 Wednesday Mopani - Blue House
 Thursday Ebony - Green House
All pupils are expected to wear their house colour T-shirts on their training day.

3. GRADE 7 AND 9 EXAMINATION PREPARATION


The school has introduced a preparation program for Grades 7 and 9. This special one-hour guided
exercise will allow teachers to prepare the children for exams. The program will run from Monday to
Thursday each week. Pupils that use the school bus should get in touch with the accounts executive
for details.

4. EDUCATION TOUR
Children in Grades 3 to 9 will have educational trips this term. Details and costs of the trips will be
shared with the respective grades.

5. AFRICA FREEDOM DAY


Our pupils will celebrate Africa Freedom Day on Friday, 24th May 2024. This year, the celebration will
take a different approach as pupils present various cultures across African countries. African countries
and their identities will be showcased through dances, music, outfits, cuisine, and more. (See the
program attached)
