Evaluation Report
You are to write an evaluation report, addressing all of the points below.

Roster Software

How well did the software work for your requirements? What features or functions worked well and
what could have been useful that was not available? How easy was it to use? Was it clear to staff?
What were the main benefits of using the software, what were the limitations?

Provide an overview of the software using screenshots to identify useful tools and functions that
helped you develop the roster.

The roster software effectively met our requirements for developing and managing staff
rosters. Its user-friendly interface facilitated easy navigation and swift roster creation.
Noteworthy features, including the visualization of shifts, role assignments, and schedule
adjustments, proved beneficial.

While the software performed well, we identified areas for improvement. The absence of
automated conflict resolution and advanced communication tools limits the software’s utility.
Integrating these features could enhance overall functionality and streamline operations.

In terms of usability, our staff found the software to be clear and intuitive, significantly
reducing training needs. The main benefits include efficient roster development and user-
friendly tools. However, to maximize its potential, incorporating automated conflict resolution
and advanced communication features is crucial.

The roster development process was largely successful, receiving positive feedback from
staff during discussions. The intuitive interface contributed to an efficient roster creation
experience. However, identified areas for improvement include the integration of automated

team coordination.

To enhance the process, future steps involve researching and implementing software updates
or exploring alternative tools with the desired features. Engaging in further discussions with
staff to gather specific input on desired functionalities is crucial. Additionally, providing
comprehensive training sessions or resources for the updated features will ensure a seamless
transition and maximize the benefits of the roster software.

Staffing requirements

How well did you consider the staffing requirements? Were you able to roster on the right amount of
staff for each shift? Was there a good mix of skill and combination of staff? Did you take into
consideration social and cultural factors that affect staff rostering? Was it easy to make the changes
and incorporate the necessary skills whilst also meeting operational requirements?
The staffing requirements were thoughtfully considered during the roster development
process, aiming to allocate the right amount of staff for each shift with a strategic mix of skills.
While efforts were made to meet operational needs, there's a realization that the consideration
of social and cultural factors impacting staff rostering could be further enhanced to foster a
more harmonious work environment.

Acknowledging the importance of a diverse and well-balanced team, the process allowed for
relatively straightforward adjustments to incorporate necessary skills while meeting
operational requirements. However, ongoing refinement and an increased focus on
understanding social and cultural dynamics would contribute to a more comprehensive and
optimized staffing strategy, promoting team cohesion and employee satisfaction.

Operational requirements

Were you able to meet the operational requirements such as staffing skills, costs, the amount of staff
needed for each shift. Did you meet the required budget? What improvements could you make?
The roster development process effectively addressed operational requirements, ensuring a
