136 youths who can provide significant evidence of financial hardship in
Terego, Madi-okollo, Yumbe, Koboko, Adjumani, Kikuube, Kamwenge,
Obongi and Isingiro.
Young women, refugees/displaced youths, or hosts, persons with
disabilities.
Those who have completed the Uganda Advanced Certificate Examination
(or its equivalent) in Uganda within the specified districts.
About the Program
War Child Canada, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and implementing partners in both the West Nile and
South West regions, is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for refugee and host community youths who
have completed the Uganda Advanced Certificate Examination and are interested in pursuing undergraduate
university and diploma programs. We invite eligible candidates to apply. 70% of the scholarships will be awarded to
female youths and 70% to refugee youths, so female youths and refugees are encouraged to apply. Additionally,
students enrolled in programs lasting longer than three years must be in their third year to ensure they can complete
the course within three years.
Eligibility
MUST have an admission for bachelor’s or diploma program from any of the listed universities or an accredited
institution under the private sponsorship scheme.
The applicant must be 18 to 32 years old at the time of submitting their application. Scholarship
