Emergency Overview:
Clear, light straw-yellow liquid with a solvent odor. Warning! This material is a flammable liquid with
flammable vapors. Mixture contains material which is a suspected carcinogen. May cause kidney and
liver damage through prolonged or repeated exposure. Danger! Toxic if swallowed. Material may cause
eye, skin and respiratory tract irritation. Material contains a substance that may impair female fertility,
Eye Contact: May cause eye irritation. Moderate corneal injuries may occur.Check for and remove
contact lenses, if easy to do. Irrigate eyes with flowing water immediately for at least 15minutes,
occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Refer to medical personnel.
Skin Contact: Minor irritation, may be a skin sensitizer. Could be absorbed in toxic amounts if not
removed. Flush skin with water or soap water immediately for at least 15 minutes. Remove
contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing and clean shoes before reuse. Get medical attention
immediately.

Inhalation: Irritation to the upper respiratory tract, dizziness, headache and central nervous system
impairment may occur. Remove to fresh air if effects occur and contact medical personnel immediately.
If person is not breathing or breathing is irregular, provide oxygen with the aid of trained medical
personnel only. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If unconscious, place in
recovery position and seek medical attention immediately.
Ingestion: Toxic. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Immediately contact medical personnel. Do not induce
vomiting unless told to by trained medical personnel. Do not give fluids. If spontaneous vomiting is
inevitable, prevent aspiration by keeping the victim’s head below the knees. Never give anything by
mouth to an unconscious person.
Extinguishing Media: Dry chemical, CO2, water spray (fog) or foam. DO NOT use water jet.
Specific Hazards and Procedures: Clear fire area of all non-emergency personnel. No action should
be taken involving any personal risk without suitable training. Move container from fire area if this can
be done without rick. Use water jet to cool surrounding containers. In case of fire, smoke may contain
the original material in addition to combustion products of varying composition with may be toxic or
irritating.
Specific Fire Fighting Equipment: Appropriate protective equipment and self-containing breathing
apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operating in positive pressure mode should be worn. Avoid
contact with material.
Personal Protective Measures: Evacuate surrounding areas. Do not walk through or touch spilled
material. Shut off all ignition sources. Avoid breathing vapor or mist. Use appropriate safety equipment.
Clean Up/Disposal Method: Stop leak if without risk. Shut off all electrical equipment and protect
from ignition. If able, remove containers from spill area. Soak in absorbent material or scrape up.
Residual resin can be removed by use of non-flammable solvent such as methylene chloride. Prevent
entry into sewers, basements, water courses or confined areas. Use spark-proof tools and explosion-
proof equipment. Discharge, treatment or disposal may be subject to national, state, or local laws.
Incinerate. Since emptied containers retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is
emptied.
Precautions: Practice good caution and personal cleanliness to avoid eye and skin contact. Avoid
breathing vapors if generated. Turn off and avoid sources of ignition. Ground all equipment. Material
may result in spontaneous combustion.
Storage Information: Store in a well ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid direct
sunlight, and keep away from food and drink. Do not store in unlabeled containers
Engineering Controls: Use only with adequate ventilation. Use explosion-proof ventilation equipment.
Stability: Stable under normal conditions. Avoid high temperatures, heat and open flames.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: May produce chlorine or fluorine gas, aldehydes, ketones and
organic acids.
Primary Symptoms: May cause irritation to the eye and the respiratory system, may be a skin
sensitizer. Harmful if swallowed.

Effects of Overexposure: Irritation to the liver, kidney and nervous system may occur. Central nervous
system depression as wells as dizziness and headache may also occur. Possible anesthesia may occur.

SECTION 16: Other Information
Emergency Overview:
Opaque, colored liquid with an organic solvent and ammonia odor. Warning! This material is a
flammable liquid with flammable vapors. Material contains substances that are known and suspected of
being carcinogenic to humans as well as a substance that could negatively affect female reproductive
organs and fertility. Danger! Toxic if swallowed. Material may cause eye, skin, and respiratory tract
irritation.
Eye Contact: May cause eye irritation or burns. May cause blindness. Irrigate with flowing ware
immediately for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart. Get immediate medical attention. If physician
not available, continue flushing eyes with water for 1 hour.
Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation or burns. Flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove
contaminated clothing and shoes. Launder clothing before reuse, discard contaminated leather. Seek
medical attention. Cover wound with sterile dressing.
Abatron, INC Code 8508-1B Page 2
Inhalation: Irritation to the respiratory tract and central nervous system impairment may occur.
Damage to lungs may also occur. Remove to fresh air if effects occur and contact medical personnel
immediately. If person is not breathing or breathing is irregular, provide oxygen with the aid of trained
medical personnel only. If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical attention
immediately.
Ingestion: Toxic. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Damage to mucus membrane may occur. Immediately
contact medical personnel. Do not induce vomiting as it may cause further damage to the throat, unless
told to by trained medical personnel. Prevent aspiration of vomit. Turn victim’s head to the side. Dilute
by giving water if victim is conscious. Never give anything by mouth if the victim is rapidly losing
consciousness, or is unconscious or convulsing.
Extinguishing Media: CO2, Foam or extinguishing powder. Do not use high pressure water jet.
Specific Hazards and Procedures: Clear fire area of all non-emergency personnel. Closed containers
may rupture when exposed to extreme heat. Water may spread fire. Avoid open flames an sources of
ignition. Keep containers cools with water spray. May produce ammonia and toxic nitrogen oxide
gases. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting enter drains or water courses.
Specific Fire Fighting Equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, face shield and full
protective clothing. Avoid contact with skin.
Personal Protective Measures: Use appropriate safety equipment. Exclude people from the area
without proper protective clothing, gloves, goggles, etc. Avoid open flames and sources of ignition.
Avoid contact with skin and eye, and ensure only trained personnel are performing the clean-up.Avoid
inhalation of dust.
Clean Up/Disposal Method: Soak in absorbent material or scrape up. Pump liquid into a salvage tank.
Discharge, treat, or disposal may be subject to national, state or local laws. Incinerate. Since emptied
containers retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied. Avoid dusting
during clean-up.
Precautions: Practice good caution and personal cleanliness to avoid eye and skin contact. Avoid
breathing vapors if generated. Turn off and avoid sources of ignition. Do not empty waste into waste
water drains.
