    RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 178


    OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE SANITATION CODE OF KAPATAGAN

    WHEREAS, Republic Act 7160 or the Local Government Code of 1991 empowers the local government
    units to enact ordinances that redounded to the general welfare of its People;

    WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the local government units to ensure the delivery of better health
    and sanitation services to its constituents;

    WHEREAS, the local government unit of Kapatagan through Municipal Ordinance No. 178 or the
    “Sanitation Code of Kapatagan” is strictly enforced within the municipality;

    WHEREAS, in order to ensure the implementation of the Municipal Ordinance No. 178 of the
    Municipality, there is a need for Barangay _______________ to adopt said Municipal Ordinance to
    govern the people’s action on all matters related to general hygiene and sanitation;

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. __________________________, Sangguniang Barangay


    Member and Chairman, Committee on _____________________, Barangay ________________, be it

    RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that Municipal Ordinance No. 178 known as the
    Sanitation Code of Kapatagan shall be adopted and strictly to be imposed within in Barangay
    ________________.

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to concerned offices for their
    information, guidance and for further appropriate action.
