 ABSTRACT

Computer engineering is a field of study that combines elements of electrical engineering

and computer science to design, develop, and analyze computer systems and components. It
plays a crucial role in today's world due to its numerous needs and importance. Computer
engineering is essential to meet the technological needs of today's world. Its multidisciplinary
approach enables the creation of advanced hardware and software systems that enhance
productivity, communication, and overall quality of life. The continuous growth and importance
of computer engineering ensure that it will remain a crucial field, shaping the future of
technology and society. Through this industrial training I have acquired knowledge and skills
about android development. As a part of industrial training, I was placed at Wolfox Services Pvt.
Ltd in Kolhapur which provides Web Development, Android Development, Machine Learning,
Robotics etc. I chose Android Development for training. The report consists of all work done
and projects and Things learn during the industrial training.

 Industrial Training Significance

❖ Rationale:-
Industrial training course is introduced to all diploma programmes with an objective to
develop the traits of industry culture among the students before they enter into world of industry.
By exposing and interacting with the real life industrial setting, student will appreciate and
understand the actual working of an industry, best practices adopted in industry. The industrial
skills like, soft skills, life skills and hands-on will be inculcated among the student. This short
association with industry will be instrumental in orienting the students in transforming them into
industry ready output after completion of diploma programme.

⮚ PO1 Basic and discipline specific knowledge:- Apply knowledge of basic mathematics,
science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve Computer
Engineering related problems.

Chapter 3
Technologies Used For Training

1. Java:

Java was the traditional and official programming language for Android app
development. It is a versatile, object-oriented language used for creating Android
applications.

2. Android Studio:

Android Studio is the official integrated development environment (IDE) for

Android app development. It provides a rich set of tools for coding, debugging, testing,
and performance profiling.

3. Android SDK:

The Android Software Development Kit (SDK) is a collection of libraries, tools, and
APIs provided by Google for Android app development. It includes everything
developers need to build Android apps, ranging from system components to user
interface elements.

4. XML:

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is widely used in Android development for creating
layouts and defining the user interface of an Android application. Android uses XML
files to describe the app's UI hierarchy and other resources.

5. Gradle:

Gradle is the build system used by Android Studio to automate the process of building,
testing, and packaging Android apps. It allows developers to manage dependencies, build
configurations, and custom tasks effectively.

MobileHub

● Objective:
The MobileHub application aims to provide a comprehensive and seamless shopping experience
for phone enthusiasts by offering a wide selection of brands and models. It features a user-
friendly interface, detailed product information, and personalized recommendations to help users
make informed decisions. The app ensures a smooth shopping process , secure transactions.
Additionally, the app is optimized for mobile compatibility and leverages analytics to
continuously improve offerings and understand user behavior.

These features aim to enhance user experience and provide a dynamic

allow time for necessary resources to

 This is main page of the project. Itcontains different
types of mobile brands such as Apple, Xiaomi,
Oneplus ,Samsung . User can select the brand he
/she wishes to buy based on their interest.

Experiences Encountered In Training

During training, I encountered a range of experiences, including:

1. Learning new skills: I acquired knowledge and practical abilities related to the training
topic or field.

2. Interaction with trainers and peers: Engaging in discussions, asking questions, and
collaborating with others to enhance learning.

3. Challenges and problem-solving: Tackling real-world scenarios or challenges relevant to

the training subject.

4. Personal growth: Developing confidence, self-awareness, and adaptability as i learn and

overcome obstacles.

5. We encounter difficulties during the installation process of Android Studio, such as

interrupted downloads or compatibility problems. This taught us that any setup installation
requires a compatible device. Our instructor helped us in download and installation process
of the same.

Overall, training experiences can be enriching and provide valuable insights and skills to support
personal and professional development.

Conclusion

During 6 weeks of training period, a lot of experience, knowledge and exposure have been
gained. This industrial training program has provided many benefits to me as I received a lot of
exposure in the computing world. Industry training was a platform for me to know the real and
wider field of work. In addition, the knowledge acquired during this period is fully applied in the
project. During the training, I had a taste of the real atmosphere in the workplace, as well as known
the importance of good relationship and cooperation. This training taught me that theory teaches
you through the experience of others, on the other hand in practical you tend to learn with your
own experience with the particular task.
