Material:

• Crochet Hook 5,0mm (for Baby Snuggle) and 2,5mm (for Catania)
• Crochet Yarn
o Baby Snuggle (color 13) or Funny Uni: dark brown
o Catania:
▪ Black / white (rests)
▪ Beige (ca. 30g) - Color 404
• Cotton Wool

Abbreviations:

• SC= single crochet


• C = Chain
• Slst = Slipstich
• Dc = double crochet
• Tch = turning chain
• Dec = decrease (crochet 2 SC together)
• Inc = increase (2 SC into one stich)

Short Information: Crocheting with Baby Snuggle wool really makes fun, but you should adhere to the
following principles

1) Put a knot into every beginning and ending of the wool (to avoid fraying)

Planket

Planket in dark brown (Baby Snuggle, 5mm hook).

• 32chains, turn around


• Continue in third chain (from hook), make the whole row with double crochets, 3 Chains at the
end, turn around)
• Continue in second double crochet, again a row with double crochets and 3 chains at the end,
turn around.
• Continue until the right length is reached (for me it was 19 rows in total)
• Now crochet with SC a whole round, at the corners always crochet 3 SC
• End with slst
• Cut thread

Feet (4x):

• With Catania (from Schachenmayr, 2,5mm crochet hook) in beige


• R1: 6SC into magic ring (6)
• R2: (inc) x 6 (12)
• R3: (1,inc) x 6 (18)
• R4: (2SC, inc) x 6 (24)
• R5-R8: 4 rounds with 24SC (24)
• R9: (2SC, dec) x 6 (18)
• R10-11: 2 Rounds with 18 SC (18), end with slst
• Cut thread generously

Head:

With Catania (from Schachenmayr, 2,5mm crochet hook) in beige

• R1: 6C, continue in Chain 5, 1SC in C 5-2, 3SC in C1, continue on opposite side, 1SC in C 2-4, 2SC
in C5, 1 SLST in first stich of the row (this is the new end) (12)

• Now crochet one time around the whole part, at the corners crochet 3 SC into one stich.
• Cut thread generously

Horns:

2x

• with Catania (from Schachenmayr, 2,5mm crochet hook)


in white
• R1: 6SC into magic ring (6)
• R2-4: 3 Rounds with 6SC (6)
• Cut thread

2x

• with Catania (from Schachenmayr, 2,5mm crochet hook)


in white
• R1: 8SC into magic ring (8)
• R2-7: 6 Rounds with 8SC (8), end with slst
• Cut thread

Nose:

• With Catania (from Schachenmayr, 2,5mm crochet hook) in beige


• R1: 6SC into magic ring (6)
• R2: (1SC, inc) x 3 (9)
• R3: (2SC,inc) x 3 (12)
• R4: (3SC, inc) x 3 (15)
• R5-6: 2 rounds with 15SC (15), end with slst
• Cut thread generously

Finish:

• Sew one foot to each corner of the planket (sew the end threads of the planket into the
respective foot). During sewing slightly fill the feet with cotton wool

• Sew head cover to the head (Use thread from Catania)

• Sew eyes in black to the head

• Sew nose to the head

• Sew “nose” in black to the nose

• Sew white spots to the head

• Sew ears to the head

• Sew both parts of the horns together
