IMPERIAL ROYAL GUARD


-HANDBOOK-

“ DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR “


His warriors we are, His greatest sentinels, His Servants, and His advisors. Our sole
purpose is to enact His Imperial Majesty's Will, to manifest His Vision, to act as His
defenders. No other warrior shall best us in the art of battle, whether possessing the
power of the Force or not, whether with weaponry superior or inferior, whether of
strength greater or lesser; for we are His ultimate bulwark.

● This document contains information pertaining to the foundation of


every individual in the Royal Guard.

● This document is the property of the Royal Guard and under protection
of Genre Staff and Royal Guard High Command.

● Any document information should you not be able to comprehend, can


be resolved by asking the higher-ups.

● Any part of this document is not to be reproduced in any form, doing so


will result in severe punishments.

Chapter One (1): Introduction

Greetings, Guardsman. You have been admitted into the Imperial Guard. The sole
purpose of the Imperial Guard is to serve His Imperial Majesty. The biggest goal of
all Guardsmen is to serve His Imperial Majesty to the highest degree whether it be
life or death. As a guardsmen it is your duty to always be striving to be better in the
art of combat both physical and weaponry.

As a guardsmen it is your sole duty to protect, your life shall be inferior to the duty
you shall conduct, your life shall be inferior to the entirety of the Guard. You will
carry out your duties without the fear of death if it means you do your sole purpose.

As a guardsman, your loyalty to the Guard is your highest priority, other than His
Imperial Majesty. His word is your command and you will obey His Imperial Majesty
above all. No others shall command you nor instruct you other than your superiors,
or designees His Imperial Majesty appoints.

Chapter Two (2): Oaths of all Imperial Guardsmen

Oath of Obedience:
➤ This oath shall be used after a guardsman with the rank of Initiate
graduates into a true guardsman of the Imperial Guard.
➤ I swear this sacred oath that I shall render unconditional obedience and
loyalty to His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Palpatine. I swear to exercise every power in
service to the Galactic Empire, and shall, whensoever I am asked, be prepared, as a
loyal servant, to surrender my life for this oath.

Oath of Silence:
➤ It is the sole duty of each and every guardsman to maintain the highest and
utmost degree of silence within the conduct of their duty, it is naught only for the
Guard consists of the greatest warriors, but for efficacy in its duty.
➤ A guardsman holding a position that is lower than that of a Lieutenant
shall not speak in any form of in-game communications that are public, he shall only
use whisper to communicate to essential personnel or use the Imperial Throne team
chat for the same.
➤ The term “essential personnel” shall outline the following individuals listed below
➤ His Imperial Majesty;
➤ His Excellency, The Grand Vizier;
➤ His Imperial Executor, Lord Vader;
➤ Guardsmen of the Imperial Guard;
➤ Or an active VIP.
➤ A guardsman need not abide by the Oath of Silence at the Imperial Guard’s
Headquarters located on Yinchorr

Chapter Three (3): Expectations of all Guardsmen

➤ A guardsman shall not tab out or go away from keyboard, when on duty at any
time unless it is away from public eyes. A guard shall use reasonable discretion in
choosing such a location. A guardsman may not pick a location where it will interfere
with the duties of other guardsman. Locations that are not permitted are,
➤ Any location where other guardsmen are present guarding any active VIP.
➤ Any place where combat is currently active.

➤ A guardsman shall never harm, injure, or kill another guardsman outside of a duel,
a training exercise, or unless ordered to by a superior individual.

➤ Guardsmen are permitted to duel one another in public eyes. However, it is heavily
regulated. It is to be supervised by someone possessing the title of Sergeant or
greater. When two guardsmen wish to duel it must also be in a safe area where they
will not be attacked by enemies of the Empire. Guardsmen may not duel when in the
presence of His Imperial Majesty or any member of the Imperial Ruling Council, or
when guarding.

➤ His Imperial Majesty and the Imperial Guard are to be your highest priority, within
the Empire. You shall maintain the highest and utmost undying loyalty to them, unless
properly discharged.

➤ A guardsman goes on-duty as soon as they join any planet. It is recommended but
not required, unless ordered to by a superior guardsman to join the On-Duty voice
communications channel.

➤ All guardsmen are expected and required to act mature and professional at all
times in any form of official regulated communication channels. He shall use
appropriate grammar at all times and represent the virtue of the Guard at a
reasonable degree.

➤ All guardsmen are expected and required to not act foolishly at any given time
while in game. At times a guardsman may act more relaxed, however they may not be
immature, and may use their reasonable judgment when doing so, this is including
not limited to,
➤ Guarding any active VIP
➤ Being watched by public eyes
➤ Or being in the presence of any high-ranking individuals within the Empire

Chapter Four(4): Guarding and VIP Procedures

Generic Regulations:
➤ An Imperial guardsman shall at all times provide complete priority to the
protection of His Imperial Majesty, if protecting someone when His Imperial
Majesty joins, a guardsman shall leave his position and immediately attempt
to locate His Imperial Majesty.
➤ A guardsman who is not within any subdivision shall protect all other VIPs
evenly and to the best of his ability.
➤ If there is not enough personnel to guard other VIPs a guardsman is to
protect His Imperial Majesty unless ordered otherwise.
➤ If His Imperial Majesty orders you to guard another individual, you are
subject to his will and will do so without question.
➤ If an active VIP you are guarding orders you to stop guarding and orders
you to do something for example fight, you will obey and do as they wish
unless ordered otherwise.

Killzone Regulations:
➤ Each VIP will have a default killzone of up to 5 studs that shall be in effect
at all times, unless ordered not to.
➤ An individual who shall fall under the Imperial Throne or the Imperial High
Command shall be exempt from being terminated for trespassing into an
active killzone, unless specified otherwise.
➤ Whenever a VIP shall approach or talk to an individual, he or she is not to
be terminated unless they are a threat to the VIPs safety. When it comes to
this, use your reasonable judgment.
➤ If someone uses the wrong title when guarding His Imperial Majesty you
may execute them if you wish. His Imperial Majesty will be addressed as
Emperor, His Imperial Majesty, or Majesty.

VIP List:
➤ His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Palpaetine
➤ His Excellency, The Grand Vizier
➤ Councilors of the Imperial Ruling Council

Imperial Palace Regulations:


➤ Whenever a guardsman shall guard the Imperial Palace and there are
people present, guardsmen are to evenly distribute throughout the palace and
guard at the pillars.
➤ Anyone who passes beyond the pillars without authorization or a significant
rank is to be executed on the spot.
➤ Whenever someone who is authorized goes up to the door, one or two
guardsmen are to follow that person or persons.
➤ The automatic kill policy can be disabled if requested by His Imperial
Majesty himself.

Naboo Palace Regulations:


➤ When guarding at the Naboo palace with an active VIP inside the office an
automatic kill zone will be active whenever someone enters the room. A small
list of the people automatically whitelisted to pass through are,

➤ His Imperial Majesty


➤ Grand Vizier
➤ Councilors of The Imperial Ruling Council
➤ High Command of the Galactic Empire

➤ This is just a small portion of the common people allowed inside, there are
more people allowed however, use your judgment as you see fit unless ordered
otherwise.
➤ Depending on the amount of guardsmen available, one or two are to stand
outside at all times unless someone tresspasses inside and are highly
recommended to notify other guardsmen of who is coming into the room with
the use of official voice comms.

Chapter Five(5): Quota of the Imperial Guard

➤ Each guardsman is expected to perform a certain number of hours of their duties


every week. The quota may change at any time with the approval of the Lord
Commandant, Kir Kanos or Master Trainer, Ved Kennede.

➤ Each and every guardsmen is expected and required to spend and log a minimum
of three hours in-game every week. A guardsman may log their time spent in-game
with the proper format used in activity-logs found within the official Imperial Guard
server.

➤ Guardsmen are not required to but it is heavily encouraged to spend more time on
any planet where people are present. It helps show that the Imperial Guard is
dedicated to their positions and consistent with showing their activity. You may also
aid others in combat and be encouraged to participate in doing so.

➤ Those of the Imperial Guard who possess the title of Sergeant and Lieutenant are
expected to host at least 2 Combat Trainings and 2 SSU’s or Patrols on a planet each
week.

➤ Those who are honored and possess the title of Captain within the Imperial Guard
are expected to host 2 Combat Trainings, an Initiate Activity Cheek, and a Galactic
Empire Enlistment Post.

➤ The captain of the Imperial Sovereign protectors is subject to the same quota
above, however they are also required to host training for the Imperial Sovereign
Protectors to further hone their exceptional skills in combat.

Chapter Six(6): Chain of Command

Imperial Royal Guard:


➤His Imperial Majesty
➤His Excellency, The Grand Vizier
➤Master Trainer of the Guard, Ved Kennede
➤Lord Commandant of the Guard
➤Captain of the Royal Guard
➤Lieutenant of the Royal Guard
➤Sergeant of the Royal Guard
➤2nd Sergeant of the Royal Guard

Imperial Sovereign Protectors:


➤His Imperial Majesty
➤Captain of the Sovereign Protectors, Carnor Jax
➤Lieutenant of the Sovereign Protectors
➤Sergeant of the Sovereign Protectors

Chapter Seven(7): Ranking Structure

Initiate:
➤ Personnel of the Guard who are under trial, and are mandated and subject
to evaluations and examinations before they are titled and granted the honor of
being a fully fledged guardsmen.

Royal Guard:
➤ A guardsman of the Guard that is fully fledged and has passed all of his any
and all evaluations and underwent proper training by his superiors. It is expected of
all such guardsmen to have complete knowledge of general protocol and procedure.

Sergeant:
➤ Experienced and sub-elite guardsmen of the Guard, they are very
knowledgeable in terms of generic protocols and specific protocols. This position is
the lowest in the chain of command however, they do possess basic field authority
and can order regular guardsmen to a certain extent. Those that possess this title
are also expected to host events and aid other guardsmen with general help.

Lieutenant:
➤ They are the second lowest ranking officers within the Guard Officer Core.
They possess authority to help their respective captains help pick out Sergeants if
requested. They can also speak out of Oath of Silence when for exigent purposes or
providing instructions to their subordinates. Furthermore such officers are also
permitted to conduct tryouts with permission from their respective captain with
supervision if needed. At any given time within the Imperial Guard there is a
maximum of one lieutenant per division. They are also responsible for disciplining
lower ranking individuals if absolutely needed however this usually falls under the
captain.

Captain:

➤ These officers are well talented in every aspect of the guard from
knowledge, combat, and leadership. They are core members of the guard and oversee
their respective divisions. They are primarily responsible for appointing new officers
of their division and allowed to host any form of event however they see fit. They also
possess the power to punish and discipline any personnel of the guard. However, they
must use reasonable judgment when punishing others.

Lord Commanant:
➤ The General Overseer of the guard, he has almost full authority over the
entirety of the guard with near absolute administrative authority. The Lord
Commandant will generally make decisions on behalf of the Master Trainer and
assist the captains when needed. At any given time there is a maximum of only one
Lord Commandant holding this title.

Master Trainer:
➤ The High Overseer of the Guard, he possesses full administrative power over
the guard without any restrictions. He is in full command of the guard and he can
appoint or remove anyone from a position as he wants. He is second only to His
Imperial Majesty Himself.

Chapter Eight(8): Divisional Information

Section is no longer in use.

Imperial Royal Guard:

➤ The main division of the Imperial Guard as a whole. They are skilled and the
fiercest warriors the Galactic Empire has to offer. They are second to none and will
defeat all who oppose them.
➤ The responsibilities of the regular Imperial Royal Guard is to protect His Imperial
Majesty Himself, as well as members of the Imperial Ruling Council. They are also
responsible for protecting other VIPs who they are ordered to.
➤ They are provided with a comlink, T-21 rifle, and a force pike for their weaponry.

Imperial Sovereign Protectors:


➤ Commonly known and referred to as Royal Guard Champions, Sovereign Protectors
are the most skilled, experienced, and fiercest warriors the Guard has to offer.
➤ The Imperial Sovereign Protector's sole duty is to closely protect His Imperial
Majesty and report directly to him.
➤ Sovereign Protectors are provided with a double vibro-blade, a T21 rifle, DP-23
pistol, and a comlink.
