HCLTech Q1 FY25 Results: Headcount Shift


Strategic Reduction: HCLTech’s headcount decreased by 8,080
employees during Q1. However, it’s essential to consider that
approximately 7,398 employees were lost due to the divestment of the
firm, State Street. Excluding this effect, the headcount remained
relatively flat quarter-on-quarter.

Fresh Talent Onboarding: The company onboarded 1,078 fresh


graduates during the quarter, demonstrating its commitment to
nurturing young talent. Moreover, HCLTech has ambitious plans to
hire a total of 10,000 freshers throughout FY25.
