Grammar
To talk about something that is happening when we speak, we use the verb “to be” and the
verb + “ing”.
We are watching TV now. / I’m walking now. / My mum’s sleeping at the moment.
To talk about something that is NOT happening when we speak, we use the verb “to be” in
the negative form, and the verb + “ing”.
We aren’t watching TV now. / I’m not walking now.
My mum isn’t sleeping at the moment.
