This news article that was printed almost exactly 10 year after the 1999 world cup gives the same emotion that the original one did the only thing different is that it gives it through the prospective of an underdog team that shocked the world by winning. I used this source for quotes to use on my website. - - -. Out of This World. Sports Illustrated 19 July 1999: 38-43. Print. This source captured the emotions that happened right as the first world cup came to end by the thrilling penalty kicks. It was able to catch the essence of how much this meant to the nations that participated. It had such an accurate account of the event because it was written only one week after it happened. I pulled quotes out of the source and I used two photos from the magazine on the revolution page.

She discussed the support of people and all the appearances that she and the national team made.This source was helpful for me because i used it to construct quotes to make my argument stronger. 99 World Cup star Brandi Chastain. She gave me her thoughts on the growth of womens sports locally and internationally. It was really helpful to get a first hand account of the 99 World Cup and of the growth of womens sports. Leone, Tracey. E-mail interview. 12 Dec. 2011. This source was very helpful in getting an idea of how the international play of womens sports has changed over the years. This interview was done with the coach at Northeastern University and a former player on the US national soccer team. This was a great source and provided me with bundles of different information. Waldrum, Randy. E-mail interview. 10 Dec. 2011. This source was extremely useful because he is the coach at Noter Dame one of the best division I womens soccer schools. His interview was helpful because I got a mans prospective on the Womens World Cup and effects that it has had. Also he was at the 2011 World Cup and gave his thoughts on that. He also gave his opinion on how the players have become icons and because of that more opportunities have opened up for women athletes.
