Chapter 2. Operation Safety
2.1. Summarize

This chapter describes safety of this equipment, mainly optical and electrical safety.

a. When press down emergency switch, dangerous voltage broken.

b. The operator and maintenance person shall have professional and
safe training; Operation shall conform to local laws.

c. Improper using or system adjustment may lead to guarantee failure.

2.2. Electrical Safety

1). Make sure that the system’s power is coincident with local’s;
2). 10 minutes after cutting off electricity can you maintain the equipment;Never open
the equipment’s cover with no care, or person and equipment will get danger;
3). While emergency,press emergency switch to cut off electricity;
4). This equipment’s inner part can deliver unex pected electricity to earth ;
5). This equipment’s inner part has dangerous high voltage.Nobody except for we
authorized person shall discharge any parts

2.3. Laser Safety

This equipment emits invisible light with third- degree burns.
In the treatment room, it is important that all the persons (patient and doctor) wear
the laser protective glasses recommended by our company;
Even if the patient wears the protective glasses, he shall close eyes during treatment;
If customer could not wear protective glasses, put opaque object on customer’s eyes
to well protect the eyes;
If the treatment area is very close (such as eyelid), it is needed to wear corneal protector.

 2.3.1. Treatment Room
1). The treatment room must post a laser dangerous mark.
2). The treatment room shall not place any reflective objects, including mirror.
3). Only allow people well trained to enter treatment room
4). Make sure that operator is familiar with using of this equipment and turn off system
in the emergency.

2.4. Prevention
Read this user manual carefully before using this equipment;
Always keep the handpiece clean;
Be careful to move the equipment and avoid human injury. Do not pull handpiece to
move equipment.

2.5. Caution
1). Technical staff is qualified to maintain the system, including: adjust inner power,
inner optical components;
2). During maintenance, system shall be off and unplug power. Since turned on system
may damage operator or system;
3). Turn off the equipment if you don’t use this equipment;
4). Shall not let system stay at ready condition;
5). Person who isn’t trained can’t operate this equipment.

2.6. Explosion And Fire Danger

This equipment is not suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anesthetic
mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous ox ide. Do not operate in the presence of
volatile solvents such as alcohol or gasoline;
While using this equipment, we advise you to use fire prevention materials and fire
prevention clothes;
A readily accessible fire extinguisher in the vicinity of the system is also recommended.

2.7. High Voltage Hazard

Voltage of this system is 220 VAC/110VAC;
To prevent personal injury, do install preventive cover before using this system;
Do not disassemble preventive covering;

Chapter 4. Installation
After purchasing this equipment, make installation and initial system testing.

Main items are:

Unpack the equipment and position it in its pre-selected location
Verify the integrity of this equipment and its components according to packing list;
Connect Tablet PC , foot switch and light guide arm;

4.1. Environmental Requirements

Environmental request：Avoid intense light, avoid strong magnetic environment

1. If clinic room’s temperature is too low or the equipment

4.2. Space And Location

The working area and system location shall meet equipment’s
requirement. To ensure good ventilation, always ensure that

5.1. Start Equipment

1). Make sure that emergency switch is not pressed; If it is pressed, clockwise
turn it to release it；
2). Make power switch show ON
3). Turn the key switch 90 degrees （can hear sound of fan）

5.2. Starting Interface

When power on,the LCD will show suster, starting interface as above picture,and after 4
seconds systerm initialization,press anywhere on the interface for access to Main Menu Interface.

laser spot. It can be adjusted by press - key for reducing duration time and press + key
for increase the duration time.

From time 1-9,Interval Setting: It is used to adjuset inerval time for multiple
complete scanning operations, It can be adjusted by press - key for reducing
time and press + key for increase the interval time.

Scan time 1-10, Times Setting: It is used to adjust scan time for multiple complete

 6.1.2. Visual Inspection
Normally, before turning equipment, you shall check outside of equipment.
Is the wire loose? Is the equipment damaged? Is the touch screen OK?
If you find any problem, please cotact with our company.

6.1.3. Cleaning
1). After each treatment, please use soft lint-free cloth to clean the barrel with
concentration of 70% of medical alcohol;
2). Check the lens each week;
2). When you find stain,lease use soft lint-free cloth to clean the barrel with
concentration of 90% of medical alcohol;

Chapter 7. Application
7.1. Before Treatment
1) Clean skin surface before treatment.
2) The patient wears the eyecup, the doctor puts on the eyeglasses.
Metalware can reflect laser light, and workers in the work area should avoid using metal
tools and use non-reflective devices whenever possible.
To reduce laser reflex, the treatment area should avoid the presence of watches,
necklaces, bracelets and the like.
3) If you need to use anesthetic cream, please apply it about 30-40 minutes before treatment.

Firstly please put steel frame into the treatment area,then insert the treatment head to the
frame. Please pay attention to patient’s feeling when you put the the treatment head.
