Ionic CS in 30 minutes!

It's easier
than you think!
In order to achieve precisely calculated ionic cs at 20ppm without a doubt, you will need some
basic things. When I say “basic things” I mean not so basic things but necessary to do this. It's
basic to me but I'm insane. Now, where were we? Ah yes.. By now, you have all read other PDFs I
have written about capped silver or colloidal gold. All of them require a lab grade power supply like
a Korad (pictured below).

These are two Korad lab grade power supplies. One on top of the other. One is a 30 volt and
the other a 60 volt.

2
Required things (I love things).

1. A lab grade power supply with 4 decimal points. You need to have a readout display that
has four numbers. This way you can set it to 0.010 amps. These are relatively inexpensive.
Some can be found for just over $100. But you'll have it for life and can do all kinds of mad
scientist things with it. Trust me, you need this.

2. Silver wire, silver coins, silver ribbons, or the like. 99.99 pure.

3. A 1 liter beaker.

4. Distilled water to fill the beaker to 1 liter (1000mL)

5. Electrolyte solution and a syringe to dispense it 1mL at a time. This is all metric because
let's face it, the entire world is metric so deal with it. Ha! I digress.

6. A lid or something that can secure your silver wires about an inch apart. I use a FotosClear
clear plastic poly lid. It was made for my by our own Chris Fotos.

Electrolyte solution recipe!

1. 10.6 grams of sodium carbonate (washing soda). I will show you how to make it if you
cannot find it.
2. 100mL of distilled water.

Method!

Heat 50mL of distilled water to just before boiling. Add the 10.6 grams of sodium carbonate. Stir
well and then fill the rest up until you have 100mL of the solution in total.

Cool and place in a wide mouth jar or container so that you can easily suck up what you need with
a mL syringe.

If you can't find sodium carbonate, here's how you make it:

Take a few tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). Place it on a glass baking dish. Heat
the oven to 300F and cook for an hour. This makes off the other carbon molecule and the result is

3
sodium carbonate. After this is done, you can follow the directions above. Easy peasy lemon
squeezy.

It's brew time!

Fill a beaker to 1000mL (1 liter) with room temperature distilled water. Add 1mL of your prepared
electrolyte. Stir violently, like the water owes you money. Be careful not to spill. This needs to be a
clean hit.

Drop your silver wires, ribbon, coins, etc in. And set your power supply to 30 volts and 0.010 amps
(10 milliamps).

Wait 30 minutes and it is done. That's it. That's all. In exactly 30 minutes, you'll have 20ppm ionic
silver. Light may cause some of the ions to partially reduce to nanoparticles and so it may have a
slight amber look. This is normal and completely fine.

There you have it. So easy yet so far away if you're waiting for your new power supply to come! If
you choose one, I would go with Korads. They are amazeballs and come with alligator clips and
everything. I own no stock in Korad nor do I get a kickback from them. I just really like them.

Storage

Store the completed 20ppm ionic colloidal silver in amber bottles to block the blue light spectrum
which begins the reduction process.

This concludes our time together. I hope you have learned a pretty superwickedawesome
technique today. Be sure to print this out for easy reference in the future. Cheers!
