INTRODUCTION
(PERKENALAN)
I am a ninth-grade student at Lentera Harapan Way Pengubuan Junior High School.
Saya adalah siswa Kelas IX di SMP Lentera Harapan Way Pengubuan.

In this video, I will share how to propagate rose cuttings.


Dalam video ini, saya akan berbagi mengenai cara menyetek bunga mawar.
The required equipments are:
Alat-alat yang dibutuhkan adalah:

A trowel
Sebuah sekop

A cutter
Sebuah alat pemotong

EQUIPMENTS A pruning shears


(ALAT-ALAT) Sebuah gunting tanaman

4 clear plastic sheeting


4 plastik transparan

4 rubber bands
4 karet gelang

4 plastic cups
4 gelas plastik
The required materials are
Bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan adalah

4 rose stems
MATERIALS 4 batang mawar
(BAHAN-
BAHAN) 1 bucket of planting medium composed of 2/3 soil and 1/3 fertilizer
1 ember media tanam yang merupakan campuran dari 2/3 tanah dan 1/3 pupuk

STEPS The steps are

First, use a cutter to create 4-7 holes, 0.5-1 cm in diameter, in the bottom of each plastic
cup.
Pertama, gunakan alat pemotong membuat 4-7 lubang berdiameter 0,5-1 cm di bagian
bawah setiap gelas plastik.

These holes will ensure proper drainage.


Lubang tersebut bertujuan untuk menjaga sirkulasi air.

Second, fill each cup completely with the planting medium, making sure not to compact
it.
Kedua, isilah seluruh gelas plastik dengan media tanam hingga penuh tanpa dipadatkan
atau ditekan.

Third, using pruning shears, cut four rose stems to a length of 15-20 cm.
Ketiga, potonglah empat batang mawar berukuran 15-20 cm menggunakan gunting
tanaman.

Make a slanted cut at the bottom of each stem and a straight cut at the top.
Pastikan tangkai mawar digunting dalam posisi miring agar didapati ujung bawah batang

Fourth, use a cutter to scrape the bottom and top ends of each stem to expose the
cambium layer.

Carefully remove any remaining leaves.

Fifth, dip the bottom end of each stem in water.

Then, insert the cuttings into the prepared cups, burying them about ¾ of the way into
the planting medium.

Sixth, water the planting medium thoroughly.

Seventh, cover the top of each cutting with a piece of transparent plastic, securing it with
a rubber band.

Leave enough space between the plastic and the cutting for new growth.

Eight, place the cuttings in a location that receives bright, indirect light.

Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves and stems.

Ninth, water the cuttings once a day, either in the morning or evening.

Tenth, after fourteen days, remove the plastic covering from the cuttings.

Eleventh, transplant the rooted cuttings into individual pots or directly into the ground.

Twelfth, continue to water the newly transplanted roses once a day.


Kedua belas, lakukan perawatan tanaman mawar di tanah atau pot dengan menyiramnya
satu kali sehari.
I want ot share two practical tips to ensure successful rose cuttings.
Saya ingin berbagi dua petunjuk praktis agar hasil stek mawar dapat berhasil.

Firstly, use stems from rose plants that have flowered at least twice, are a vibrant green,
and are sturdy.
Pertama, gunakan batang dari tanaman mawar yang minimal sudah berbunga sebanyak
TIPS dua kali, berwarna hijau segar dan kokoh.

PRAKTIS) Secondly, ensure that the planting medium is consistently moist. Kedua, pastikan agar
kadar air pada media tanam selalu tercukupi.

If the weather is particularly hot, you may need to water the rose cuttings both morning
and evening.
Apabila cuaca terlalu panas, kamu dapat menyiram tanaman mawar pada pagi dan sore
hari.
