Compas – Crew Self-Service (CSS v.2.

1)

Pre-Requisite:

1. Mobile Apps on your mobile device


- Ensure “Google Authenticator” or “Microsoft Authenticator” application is already installed in your
mobile device.

2. Time zone/Datetime on PC & Mobile Device


- Time zone and time on both the PC you are logging on and the mobile phone installed
with Authenticator must be exactly the same. (Refer to FAQ in last page for more info)

Process Flow:

Login

1. Enter username with your Crew ID and click “Next”

2. Enter password and click “Next”


• This is the same password provided by office upon joining to login to Compas Onboard.

3. Upon 1st login, system will show a QR code to register for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

4. Launch/open the “Google Authenticator” or “Microsoft Authenticator” from your mobile device.
Next, follow the below steps to add account into the Authenticator application.

application on your mobile
will now generate unique
code every 30 seconds.

5. After successfully registering 2FA in your mobile phone, enter the 6-digit code appearing on
your mobile phone to “Authenticator Token” page, then click “Next” button to login.

** Above steps completes the setup process on your 1st login.

For subsequent login, you will only see the above screen requesting the 6-digits code in
authenticator apps from your mobile phone.

Dashboard

The main elements in the dashboard/ home page after login.

1. “Next Flight” section to view flight details in connection with the crew change event.
2. “Calendar” section to view planned events for crew changes.
3. “Notification” section to view notifications.
4. “Expiring Documents” section to view any documents that is expiring soon.
5. “Non-Compliances” section to view list of any non-compliances for crew requirements.

Movements

This section provides the information for the crew’s movement & voyages

Events

This section provides the information for flights & events for crew change.

Calendar

The Calendar shows the various activities for the crew within the date range selected.

Payroll

Payroll section provide the access to crew’s payroll details and the ability to print payslip, view
allotment & MPOs related information.

Documents

This section provides the access to crew’s various documents (Authentication, Certificates, License
Visa, Passports, etc.)

To upload a document:

1. Click on the arrow of the record to expand the details.


2. Click on “View/ Upload Documents” button.

3. Click on red coloured area to locate the file.


4. Click “Upload” button to upload the document.

* This will be same steps for uploading other documents (Visa, Certificates, etc).

To add a new record

1. Click on the type of document from the top panel. (Certificates, Passport, etc.)
2. Click on “Add” button.

3. Enter details of passport and click “Insert” button to complete the process.

* This will be same steps for adding new record for other documents (Visa, Certificates, etc.)

Training

Training section shows the list of mandatory and non-mandatory requirements associated with the
qualification matrix.

Medical

Medical section provides the access to medical examination, Drug & Alcohol Tests history.

To add new medical record:

1. Click “Add” button.

2. Select Medical Centre.


3. Identify Date of Examination.
4. Identify type of Examinations. (List of examinations will be listed based on selected Medical Centre).
5. Select Vessel.
6. Click “Insert” button to complete the process.

* This will be same steps for adding new record for Drug & Alcohol Tests.

Account Settings.

This section provides the option to change login password for the system.

* This password is linked for both Crew Self-Service and Compas Onboard.

Logout

Click “Logout” to log out from the system.

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

1. I have accidentally deleted my 2FA record from my Authenticator application, how do I login?

• Please contact Service Desk stating that you have deleted 2FA record from authenticator,
Compas Admin will reset your 2FA for you to re-register back to your mobile device.

2. I changed a new phone, my new phone does not have Compas 2FA registered, how do I login?

• Send an email to Service Desk to indicate that you wish to reset your Compas 2FA, Service desk will
guide you on how to re-register Compas 2FA in the new phone.

3. I have 2 mobile phones, can I register Compas 2FA on both devices?

• No, Compas 2FA can only be register to a single device.

4. Time zone/ Time on the PC is not the same with my mobile device installed with Authenticator.

• You cannot login if the time for the 2 devices is different, you need to change either the PC or
mobile device’s time zone/ time to match the other device.
