make arms two rows shorter.

11. Ch1 and turn work. Hdc 1 and ch1. Fasten off leaving an inch long tail.
12. You should have one triangle. With a new piece of yarn, create a slip knot and attach it
to the last st of row 4. Sc in mentioned stitch to attach. Hdc 5 st to create a new base for
the second triangle. Repeat steps 3-12 until you have seven points. Do not cut yarn on
the last triangle.
13. With the working yarn of the last triangle, sc around the border of all the triangles. Put
three sc in each corner, then fasten off. This piece will look best if blocked!
Head
1. Ch 7, sc in each st. Turn work counterclockwise and work on the bottom part of chain.

13. In backloops only, (sc 3, dec) x2, sc 1, dec. In both loops, sc 21 (31)
To shape the head, sew along the top to pull the sides together to get a pointy shape. Do
this step after you stuff the head. Head shaping is not necessary!!
The placement of the arms and legs doesn’t matter much, but I placed my legs closer to
the front of the body instead of at the sides. The legs are placed between row 8 and 9
and are about 14 stitches apart.
The arms are on row 22 and are about 7 stitches apart.
The placement of Kermit’s eyes is tricky. I would suggest that you look at pictures of the
real thing to get it right.
