User Manual for Dentist Registration

Dated: 21st August 2024 Version: 2.0

Registration Process for Doctors

Step 1: The user will go to https://ndr.abdm.gov.in/. The following page will appear-

Step 2: The user will click on the ‘Login/Registration’ button that is displayed on the top right corner
of the screen.
After clicking on the Login/Registration button, the following options will appear-
 Doctor
 SDC – State Dental Council
 DCI- Dental Council of India
 NBE - National Board of Examination
 College/University
The ‘Registration’ option is available ONLY for the Doctors. For the other 4 categories, the login
credentials will be provided beforehand.

DOCTOR REGISTRATION FLOW-

Step 3: For registration, the doctor will select the option ‘Doctor’ from the above screen and click on
the ‘Register’ button. After clicking on the button, the following screen will appear-

Step 4: In the following screen, the doctor will enter the details about the ‘Registered Council’ and the
‘Registration Number’ and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5: The System will check the Registration detail with existing data. If the details do not match, then
the following dialogue box will appear on the screen and the user will have to click on ‘Yes’.

Step 6: After entering the Registration number and the Council details, the user will enter his/her Aadhaar
number. Then the user will read the consent and will click on ‘I agree’ checkbox to give the consent and
click on ‘Verify Aadhaar’ button.

Thereafter the OTP will be automatically sent to the mobile number linked with the filled Aadhaar Number.
The User will have to enter the OTP and click on Validate button.

Step 7: Then the user will enter his/her mobile number for the communication purposes and click on the
‘Verify’ button. After verification a green tick will appear for verified mobile number, user will have to
click on ‘Submit’ button to proceed.

Step 8: Then the following screen will appear where successful account creation will pop-up, the user
will get an option to set password. The user will be click on ‘Set Password’ option.

Step 9: The user then enters the password, confirms the password, and clicks on the 'Submit' button. The
user then set the password, confirm password and click on 'Submit' Button. Password should be minimum
of 8 characters wherein 1 character should be capital, 1 small, 1 numeric digit & 1 special symbol. A
confirmation message will appear, indicating that your profile has been created.

Then the following dialogue box will appear mentioning that the password has been set for the profile.

After this step, the registration process for the doctor is complete. The user needs to login to complete
the registration.

Doctor Login Flow
Step 1: The user will go to https://ndr.abdm.gov.in/. The following page will appear-

Step 2: The user will click on the ‘Login/Registration’ button that is displayed on the top right corner
of the screen, then selects ‘Doctor’ radio button and clicks on ‘Login’ button.

Step 3: The following page will appear where the user will click on the

 ‘Username’ option and enter the Username and Password or


 User can login via Mobile number and OTP

Step 4: After entering the Captcha, the user will click on the ‘Login’ button.

After logging in, the following screen will appear, having the following sections:
 My Profile
 Track Application

My Profile: -
The user will have to fill the following details-
 Personal Details
 Registration and Academic Details
 Preview Profile

Personal Details-

Step 5: The user will fill ‘Personal details’, such as Name, DOB, and Gender which will be automatically
fetched from your Aadhaar KYC. The user to fill the additional information such as Father's Name, Mother's
Name, and Nationality. If your communication address is the same as your Aadhaar address, select the
checkbox and the details will be fetched from Aadhaar. Then click on 'Save & Next'.

Step 6: The user will click on the ‘Save & Next’ button to fill the Personal Details.

Registration & Academic Details-

Step 7: In the 'Registration & Academic Details' section, the user will enter the name of the council that
they are registered with, their registration number, and the registration date. They will also select the
registration type, whether it is 'Permanent' or 'Renewable'. The user will be required to upload the
registration certificate. If the name on their registration certificate is different from their Aadhaar, they will
have the option to indicate this difference. If selected 'Yes,' they will need to upload a proof of name change,
such as a marriage certificate, etc.

The user will enter their qualification details. First, they will select whether their qualification degree is
from 'India' or 'International’.
 If they select 'India,' they will then choose their degree from a dropdown menu, with BDS as the
default selection. The user will then provide additional details such as state, college name,
university name, and the month and year the degree was awarded. They will also upload their
qualification certificate.

 If they select 'International,' they will then fill in the FMGE qualification details. They will enter
their roll number, passport number, marks obtained, and select the result from a dropdown
menu with options 'Pass' and 'Fail.' They will also select the month and year of FMGE qualified
and then choose their basic qualification details, including the degree from a dropdown menu.
The user will then provide additional details such as state, college name, university name, and

the month and year the degree was awarded. Finally, they will upload their qualification
certificate.

If the name on their degree is different from their name on Aadhaar, they will have the option to
indicate this difference (refer to the screen below). If selected 'Yes,' they will need to upload a proof
of name change, such as a marriage certificate, etc. Finally, they will click on 'Save & Next’.

Preview Profiles-

Step 8: In the 'Profile Preview' section, a preview of the previously provided details will appear. You will
need to provide a declaration by selecting the checkbox and then click 'E-Sign Profile' to provide digital
signature.

E-Sign Profile-

Step 9: To provide Digital Signature user will enter your Aadhaar number, and the OTP received on your
Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Click 'Submit' to download the E-signed declaration PDF.

After entering the OTP, user will click on ‘Submit’. Thereafter the E-signed declaration PDF will be
downloaded.

Track Application
In this section, the user can check the various applications via their request IDs and their submission dates.
The status of the applications will also be visible.
Once the profile is verified by SDC then the Doctor will get the unique DCI ID.

Once the profile is verified by the respective verifier, the status will be changed to 'Approved'. You can then
add additional Qualification Details, Work Details, and voluntarily suspend your license.
