Background
Agritourism is a field that is growing in popularity as
producers try to diversify and increase profits. By combining
agriculture and tourism, agritourism offers new sources of
revenue but also presents potential problems and legal
complications to agritourism operators.

 “Agritourism“ Definition

Simply stated, agritourism could be thought of as the crossroads of tourism and agriculture. Stated more
technically, agritourism can be defined as a form of commercial enterprise that links agricultural
production and/or processing with tourism to attract visitors onto a farm, ranch, or other agricultural
business for the purposes of entertaining and/or educating the visitors while generating income for the
farm, ranch, or business owner.

Regardless of the exact definition or terminology, any definition of agritourism should include the following four factors:

● Combines the essential elements of the tourism and agriculture industries;

● Attracts members of the public to visit agricultural operations;
● is designed to increase farm income; and
● provides recreation, entertainment, and/or educational experiences to visitors.

The term “agritourism” is often used interchangeably with “agri-tourism,” “agrotourism,”

“farm tourism,” “agricultural tourism,” or “agritainment.”

Respected Sir,

As we all aware that over half of 136 crore indian population are into farming. In recent survey total uncultivated land area increased
by 26.03% last year.

In 3.287 million Km² We have 57% of cultivated land , large amount of land acquired by government for this purpose remain unused.
Over 2.35 lakh acres of surplus land is available with 58 underperforming CPSU which have faced losses of Rs. 56,845 crore annually
. About 5.17% of the total land is uncultivated waste, which can be Converted into "Agro Forestry" that can boost our Economy, gives
organic resources, gives free electricity , boost geology by turning waste & unused land into Agro tourism industry .

I want to take that initiative with your help , and this is the single goal of my life . I just want to give my people a better tomorrow and
a self sustainable future .

 Tourism footfall

● Rajgir is famous for Tourism and Recreation Center .

● Gather over 2.8 million tourist per year .

Historically, Rajgir has been a very important place, as capital to many empires. Main tourist attractions include the
ancient city walls from Ajatshatru's period, the Bimbisar's Jail, Jarasandh's Akhara, Gridakuta hill, Sonabhandara
cave and the Jain temples on the five peaks.

Rajgir is famous for its hot water springs, locally known as Brahmakund, a sacred place for Hindus. Another major
attraction is the peace pagoda, Vishwa Shanti Stupa, built in 1969, one of the 80 peace pagodas in the world, to
spread the message of peace and non-violence. The rope-way that leads to it is another attraction. The Japanese
temple is beside the Venu Vana. Venu Vana is an artificial forest, where one can enjoy Eternal peace, and
meditate.And famous Makhdoom Kund. Sri Ramakrishna Math is a non-political spiritual organization which have
been engaged in various forms of humanitarians, social service activities. The Math has one Guest House and it
runs on donations given by the guests.
