GRAMMAR
Task 1: Interview a family member or friend, asking questions about their daily routine; writing
down the answers in the present indefinite tense.
Task 2: Identify and analyse the metaphors used in a famous speech or TED talk, explaining
their impact on the audience.
COMPOSITION
Task 1: Write a personal reflection about what you learned or accomplished over the summer
break.
Task 2: Create a collage of your favourite food dishes and write a descriptive paragraph about
any four using sensory language.
READING
Read "The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and do the following tasks:
Task 1: Write a poem from the perspective of the garden, describing its transformation and the
healing power of nature.
Task 2: Write a reflective piece about the theme of growth and transformation in the story,
exploring how the characters and the garden change and flourish throughout the novel.
RESEARCH WORK:
Task 1: Define and explore the genre of adventure fiction, discussing its key characteristics and
examples.

situations and appropriate course of action to be taken such as:

and how to perform it.
✓ First Aid for Bleeding: Understand how to stop bleeding, apply bandages, and recognize
shock.
✓ Fire Safety: Learn about fire prevention, escape plans, and basic fire fighting techniques.
✓ Basic Life Support: Understand the basics of life support, including airway
management, breathing, and circulation.
✓ Disaster Preparedness: Understand how to prepare for natural disasters like
