    CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
    • This consists of concepts that are placed within a
    logical and sequential design
    • It represents a less formal structure and is used
    for studies in which existing theory is
    inapplicable or insufficient
    • It is based on specific concepts and propositions,
    derived from empirical observation and intuition

    you want to discover, giving your
    research process a clear focus.

    and-effect relationship, you must first
    identify at least two key variables: your
    independent and depended variables.

    question and variables, the first step in
    designing your conceptual framework is
    visualizing your expected cause-and-effect
    relationship.

    It’s crucial to identify other variables
    that can influence the relationship
    between your independent and
    dependent variables early in your

    Moderating variable (or moderators)
    alter the effect that an independent
    variable has on a dependent variable.
    In other words, moderators change the
    “effect” component of the cause-and-
    effect relationship.

    Model is a conceptual framework that
    represents the structure of a system or
    process by breaking it down into three
    main components: inputs, processes,
    and outputs.

    purpose of the IPO Model is to simplify
    the understanding of a complex system
    or process by breaking it down into its
    basic components. The model helps in
    analyzing the system's behavior,
    identifying areas for improvement, and
    designing new systems or processes.

    the unknown in a specific area.
    • If a relationship is found between two or more
    variables a theory should be formulated to
    explain why the relationship exists.

    • The explanation concerns the relationship between

    • More formal and used for studies based on existing
    theories

    establish the vision to which the problem is
    directed
    • It determines and defines the focus and goal of
    the research problem
