Writing Task 1 Cycle
Writing Task 1 Cycle
At the first stage during photosynthesis under the effect of the sun plants absorb carbon and
produce oxygen and organic elements partly consisting of CO2 instead. After that the process
of rotting starts. Decomposed organisms (including dead plants and animals) provide soil
with more carbon that later becomes a basis for fossil fuels formation.
During the next stage animals and plants start the production of carbon via breathing and
release CO2 into the atmosphere. Besides animals and plants there are factories, cars and
other industrial sites that have a major input in the carbon emissions into the environment at
the same stage. Finally, the whole volume of produced carbon can be consumed by plants
again and the cycle starts anew.
Overall, it can be seen that there are 4 stages in the carbon cycle in the environment
beginning with photosynthesis and finishing with the formation of new amount of carbon in
the air.
