Circa 15.25 cm / 6 inches in height

o Crochet hook size 3.0mm
o Crochet hook size 2.0mm
o Tapestry needle and craft pins

o Stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end of a round
o Black marker pen with pointy top
Materials:
o New Fashion DK by Woolcraft: Cream (025), 100% Acrylic, 100g
o New Fashion DK by Woolcraft: Beige (8005), 100% Acrylic, 100g
o Robin DK: Black (044), 100% Acrylic, 100g
o Longer piece of white yarn to make eyes (e.g. Robin DK: White (040), 100% Acrylic, 100g)
o Polyester Craft Filling for toys and cushions
o Wire (to position the horns): coloured copper wire 0.50mm 3011, black, 20mt
Skills required / abbreviations:

o Magic ring (crochet specified number of single crochet stitches into the adjustable loop)
o Sc - single crochet
o 2sc - increase (crochet 2 single crochet stitches into the same stitch)
o 2tog - decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)

o BLO – back loop only (make single crochet stitches into the back loops only)

Info:
o Numbers in brackets at the end of each row show total number of stitches expected after
completion of the row – e.g. 2sc in each stitch (12).
o Work in continuous spiral, do not turn or join, unless stated otherwise.
o Mark the end of each row with stitch marker or piece of yarn with different colour.
o Rounds are marked as numbers in front of parentheses e.g. 1), 7-10), etc.

BODY (colour - Beige (8005), hook – 3.0mm)
1) Magic ring, 12sc (12)

2) 2sc in each stitch (24)
3) 1sc in next 3 stitches, then 2sc in next stitch – repeat to the end of row (30)
4) 1ps, 1sc - repeat to the end of row (30)
13) 1sc in next 4 stitches, then 2tog – repeat to the end of row (30)
Leave the body open, stuff with polyester filling and F/O leaving tail for sewing.

HEAD (colours - Beige (8005), Black (044), hook – 3.0mm)
Start with Black colour

3) 1sc, 2sc – repeat to the end of row (18)
6-8) 1sc in each stitch for 3 rows (36)
Change colour to Beige

18) 1sc, 2tog (1sc will be the last stitch in this row) – repeat to the end of row (27)
19) 1ps, 1sc (make 1sc into the last stitch of this row) - repeat to the end of row (27)
20) 1sc, 2tog – repeat to the end of row (18)
Now stuff the head with polyester filling.
22) 2tog – repeat to the end
Add more polyester filling if needed before F/O.

F/O, leave short tail and hide it inside the head.

EARS x 2 (colour - Black (044), hook – 3.0mm)

7) 1sc, 2tog – repeat to the end of row (8)
Close with sl st.

F/O leaving tails for sewing.

HANDS x 2 (colour – Black (044), hook – 3.0mm)

When finished, stuff with polyester filling approx. ¾ of the hand.
Next, close with sl st. F/O leaving tails for sewing.

4) 1sc in each BLO (18)
Leave open, stuff with polyester filling and F/O leaving tail for sewing.

HORNS x 2 (colour - Cream (025), hook – 3.0mm)

9) 1sc in next 2 stitches, then 2sc in next stitch (16)
Leave open, and F/O leaving tails for sewing.

Prepare the horns before attaching them to the head - take longer piece of wire, fold a few times and put
into the horn (keep whole wire inside the horn). Next, stuff with polyester filling, then twist.

EYES x 2 (colour – white, hook – 2.0mm)
Sl st into the next stitch to create circle. F/O leaving tail for sewing.
Do not paint pupils at this stage.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE
Before you permanently attach all the pieces, position them first by pinning parts into the body. Start sewing
once you are sure all looks correctly.
1) Head and ears: attach head to the body first (make sure head doesn’t wobble). Next, sew on ears to the
head, where row 16 is (counting from the top of the muzzle).
2) Legs: attach to the body between rows 7 – 9 (counting from the bottom of the body).
3) Hands: attach to the body where row 19 is (counting from the bottom of the body).
4) Horns: attach ready horns circa between rows 17 – 21 (horns filled with wire and polyester filling will add
a bit of an extra weight to the head – so just tilt the head to the front a bit to keep the ram in the sitting
position).
5) Eyes: there are 2 options for the eyes:
A) Sew eyes circa between rows 11 – 13, using sewing tail and needle; next, paint pupils using black marker
pen with pointy top;
B) Instead of sewing, you can stick them with the glue (e.g. Superglue type). If you choose to use glue:
- cut off all tails, ensure the shape is as expected
- stick them to the head one by one, not both in the same time
- apply glue on the head, but as little as possible (too much glue will harden the yarn)
- quickly, but gently press the eye to the head
- when eyes are dry, paint pupils using black marker pen with pointy top
6) Muzzle: as a last element, using needle and ‘Beige’ yarn, apply muzzle;
