ART APPRECIATION

ST
1 Semester, SY 2023-2024

Activity 1

1. What is your own Art expression? What particular Art expressions are you engaged in?

a. Self-fulfillment

For me, dance and music have always been the ultimate form of self-expression. Through my movements and
the beats of the music, I can convey my emotions and thoughts in a way that words cannot. It is a release, a way to let
go of my worries and immerse myself in the present moment.

Dance and music have been a constant in my life since I was young. From ballet to hip-hop, I have tried my hand
at various styles and have found my unique voice through them. Similarly, music has always been a source of comfort
and inspiration for me. Whether it's the lyrics or the melody, there is always a song that resonates with me and helps me
through difficult times.

Through this, I have found a sense of self-fulfillment that I cannot find anywhere else. It is a personal journey
that allows me to explore my creativity and connect with others on a deeper level. I am grateful for the opportunity to
express myself through dance and music, and I know that it will continue to be a part of my life for years to come.

b. Values and Moral Upliftment

As someone who appreciates the power of poetry as a means of promoting values and moral upliftment, I find that
it's a wonderful way to express my own beliefs and ideas. Whenever I write poetry, I try to infuse my work with a sense
of hope and inspiration, regardless of the topic. By doing so, I hope to make a positive impact on those who read my
work. In many ways, I see poetry as a way of bringing people together and inspiring positive change.

For me personally, writing poetry essays is a great way to explore my thoughts and feelings while also sharing them
with others. I find that the flow of words and the emotional resonance of language can truly touch people in a unique
way. Whether I'm writing about social justice, environmental issues, or personal growth, I always try to make my poetry
meaningful and impactful.

Ultimately, I believe that art has the power to create a more just, compassionate, and connected world. Through my
poetry, I hope to contribute to this vision and inspire others to do the same.

c. Environment Consciousness

Art has been a powerful tool for expressing one's ideas and beliefs, and for me, it has become a medium to
showcase my deep concern for the environment. Through visual arts, I aim to convey the beauty and fragility of our
planet and inspire others to take action to protect it.

I suppose that by showcasing the beauty of our natural world, I can help raise awareness about the need for
conservation and inspire others to take action. Through my creative expression, I hope to effect positive change and
create a more sustainable future.

I believe that art is a powerful medium that can influence our society and initiate change. With each stroke of my
pencil, I try to convey the fragility and complexity of our planet, as well as the urgency of preserving it for future
generations. My art is my way of contributing to the cause of environmental conservation and making a difference in the
world. I hope that my work will inspire others to take action and join me in the fight to protect our planet. Together, we
can make a difference and create a brighter future for all.

- I am currently engaged in exploring various forms of art expressions. I find joy in dancing, singing, drawing, and
even crafting. I believe that art allows me to express myself in a unique way and provides an outlet for my
creativity. There's something truly special about creating something out of nothing and seeing it come to life. I also
enjoy exploring different cultures and their artistic traditions, as it broadens my perspective and inspires me to try
new things. Overall, art brings me a sense of fulfillment and I look forward to continuing my artistic journey.

3. When can you say an artist succeeds in conveying the message of his/her artwork?

- An artist can be said to have succeeded in conveying the message of their artwork when the viewer can fully
understand and appreciate the intended meaning behind the piece. This can be achieved through various
techniques such as the use of symbolism, color, and composition. Ultimately, the success of an artist's message is
dependent on the viewer's interpretation, but if the artist can effectively communicate their intended message
through their artwork, then they have undoubtedly succeeded in their goal.
