1. Expand and simplify (5 − 2√7)(5 + 2√7). (3 marks)

2. Find the value of 𝑎 given that 𝑥2 + 𝑎𝑥 + 36 is a perfect square. (2 marks)

3. Express the following in terms of the sine of an acute angle.

4. A cubic tank of side 3m is filled with water. If all the water is transferred into a cylindrical tank of
