ABOUT ME

I am a highly motivated and result-oriented civil engineering researcher with a focus on urban environment, energy,
and BIM technology. I have 3 years of experience in academic research and have successfully completed several
projects. I am looking for a master's research position.

PROJECTS

1. Research Project: Sensors aided energy efficiency simulation and assessment of a residential building
through living lab concept Team leader:
A fully funded project to support a national research for universities of Pakistan by the Higher Education
Commission of Pakistan to develop guidelines to make existing houses energy efficient, and to convert urban spaces
into pleasant and sustainable living environments. This study targeted three major UN sustainable development
goals; Affordable and clean energy (SDG7), Climate change (SDG13) & Smart cities & communities (SDG11). Gre
enhouse gas emissions from houses were a major threat to our environment and hence the need of net zero
carbon and energy efficiency was increased. The apartment buildings of the University staff colony were audited for
energy efficiency through physical and virtual audits performed solely by me after university hours. 3D models were
developed using BIM technology. The modeled buildings were analyzed for energy performance through energy
add-ons (Insight360 and Green Building Studio). Building energy performance parameters were evaluated through se
nsors in real time based on the living lab concept. The comparison was made between the modeled performance
and sensors collected data. Then, I developed guidelines for energy-efficient buildings based on the deficiencies
identified. These guidelines also served as a benchmark for future research on this topic.

2. Flood Modelling (HEC-RAS) Analyzed Turbat (Balochistan) site by hydrological model using GIS data on HEC-RAS.

3. Behavior & design of high strength Steel members - a complex engineering problem
