​Orientation Program - Inaugural Session

Vaheed:​ Good morning to one and all. On behalf of CBIT it's my privilege to extend a warm
welcome to the esteemed dignitaries, special invitees, Members of Management, Principal,
Directors, Heads of the Departments, faculty members and above all to our dear freshers
and their parents and guardians to the Inaugural Program of today's Orientation.

I am Vaheed, from 3rd year Chemical Engineering. We congratulate all the students, for
securing admission to Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology and for making a good
decision to choose to Study in CBIT under the likes of eminent scholars and stars of
technical education like Dr. V. Malakonda Reddy.

Your arrival at CBIT marks a new chapter in the story of your life. And this chapter will
certainly be different from the others. You have the opportunity to determine the direction,
the plot and the tempo of your story. This can seem as daunting as it is exciting, as
challenging as it is empowering. But one thing we can guarantee...it will be an experience
that you will all cherish.

Sejal:​ While you are here at CBIT you will have the opportunity to learn new things, acquire
greater knowledge, develop new skills, and enhance your personal attributes in profound
ways that will equip you for life both personally and professionally. In addition to academics
there are a myriad activities and clubs through which you can develop a rounded personality.
Of course you will all learn more about this in the course of the induction Program.

CBIT is a vibrant community where you can feel supported and encouraged. No matter
where you come from, CBIT is home for us all and now you are all a part of CBIT family. You
can all unleash your potential, explore your research aptitude and entrepreneurial skills and
strive to live up to our motto, "Swayam Tejeswin Bhava"

good morning everyone, i am sejal from chemical engineering 3rd year.​ ​Abiding by the
tradition of seeking Almighty's blessings and his divine grace, Let us kindle the lamp and let
the light illuminate our path and drive away the darkness. now we shall light the lamp
virtually.

Now let us begin the program by invoking Lord Ganesha and seek His blessings on this
auspicious occasion. i would now like to invite shivajothi from final year , IT to render a
beautiful song

it is our privilage to play a song wirtten by our president dr. v malakonda reddy sir at tender
age of 12. it is the school song of where he had studeid in prakasm district for the last 8
decades and now it is our nstitutes song. now we shall listen to song.

Vaheed; thank you sejak, good morning everyone, i am vaheed form 3rd year,
chemical engineering.

Vaheed: before i invite principal dr. gps varma tto deliver his welcome address, it’s
my pleasure to present his profile

Prof. G P S Varma,, previously worked as Pro Vice-Chancellor, KL University having an

academic experience of 28 Years and various positions as
Chairman, Indian Society for Technical Education- AP State,

CEO of Centre for Innovation Incubation Entrepreneurship-KL University,

Board Member of (Indo US Collaboration for Engineering Education),

Board Member of (Global Engineering Deans Council),

Membership Chair of (American Society for Engineering Education) Indian Chapter, are few
amongst many others

Sir has received numerous awards like TOP 100 Educators 2015 award by International
Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England.

Teacher’s Excellence Award 2015 by Confederation of Education Excellence, New Delhi.

Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar 2015 by Centre for Education Growth and Research India
International Centre, New Delhi and others

He has published six books and One Hundred and Twenty-Six research papers in various
International and National Journals.

He is also a leading consultant for some of the software companies, Developed and
Maintaining Andhra Pradesh State Panchayati Raj web portal, E-Governance Software’s for
West Godavari District Collectorate and Placements Portal of APPECMA.

SEJAL ​: now i deem it a privivelage nvite to invite dr. v malakonda reddy sir. he is the
founder , secretary of CBES , former principal of CBIT and now the president of CBIT. a bron
poet who has innumerable achievements to his name is also the recipient of the indira
gandhi national award, millenial medal of honour, kavi kireeti, dr. malakonda redddy sir has
significantly contributed to the development of education and engineering and is one of the
behind all the achievements and progress CBIT made until today. the milestones he
achieved till date spans over 8 decades of journey. from a humble status to a stature of
stalwart in literary works , education and engg, a tall order of having been responsible govt
ans academic positions, authored books and poems , mentoring scores of engg students ,
founding colleges of excellence , facilitating quality learning in medical education by
establisting medical reserach and academic institutes . we are so blessed to have you here
today sir. i would like to request dr malkonda reddy sir to speak a few words
thank you so much for those words of wisdom sir. you have been a constant source of
encouragement to us. over to sandhya maam
