Course Introduction
This course is planned to introduce theFunctionalJapanese language to students at 2nd level.it
will include sentences,instructions and desceriptions used in everyday life.To achive this
objective basic vocabulary and dialouges will be used.

Learning Outcomes
On the completion of the course, the students will:
1. Be able to communicate in Japanese
2. Make sentences inJapaneselanguage.
3. Have situational dialouges.
4. Write paragraphes and short essays.
5. Speaking and pronunciation

Assessment

1. Midterm 35% Written Assessment at the mid-point of the
Assessment semester.
2. Formative 25% Continuous assessment includes: Classroom
Assessment participation, assignments, presentations, viva
voce, attitude and behavior, hands-on-activities,
short tests, projects, practical, reflections,
readings, quizzes etc.
3. Final 40% Written Examination at the end of the semester. It
Assessment is mostly in the form of a test, but owing to the
nature of the course the teacher may assess their
students based on term paper, research proposal
development, field work and report writing etc.
